Monomad: Tiny mushrooms on brittle twigs
(Edited)
Some pictures of mushrooms in black and white visuals as my entry for today's #monomad challenge.
A small mushroom that grows on a fragile wooden twig, this is a type of fungus Pezizaceae the body of the petals is pink but some are yellow, most of them grow on rotting twigs.
This fungus is identical to the fine hairs that grow on the fruiting body of its petals. They can last up to several days at standard temperatures.
And some of these pictures are of the Marasmius rotula mushroom. These mushrooms are unique, most of them grow on rotten leaves and are very good at hiding from the sun. This fungus does prefer to grow in the shade in a pile of leaves on the soil surface.
