Homemade hot dogs in the best Venezuelan style || Perros calientes caseros al mejor estilo venezolano [ENG-SPAN]
Hello everyone, dear friends of this hive community, who doesn't like to have a different kind of dinner? In this opportunity, I want to share with you how I make my hot dogs in the best Venezuelan style in the comfort of my home. It is very easy to prepare and it is ideal for a family dinner. And as for the taste, don't worry, they are identical to the ones you enjoy when you go out to eat in the street. Likewise, I want to show you how I prepare my own mayonnaise when I forget to bring it from the supermarket.
Hola a todos, queridos amigos de esta comunidad de hive. ¿A quien no le gusta tener una cena diferente? En esta oportunidad, quiero compartir con ustedes la manera como hago mis perros calientes al mejor estilo venezolano en la comodidad de mi casa. Es muy fácil de preparar y es ideal para una cena en familia. Y en cuanto al sabor, no se preocupen, quedan idénticos a los que disfrutas cuando sales a comer en la calle. De igual forma, quiero mostrarles como preparo mi propia mayonesa cuando se me olvida traerla del supermercado.

- Zanahoria

First of all, for hygienic reasons, we must wash our hands well and then do it with the vegetables. Afterwards, we continue with chopping the cabbage, carrot and onion in small pieces and reserve them separately. The cheese we grate it using the smallest part of the ray, this grated carrot we spread it with the cabbage that we already had previously chopped and the cheese we put it aside. We must chop the hot dog buns that we are going to use.
Lo primero, por motivo de higiene, debemos de lavar bien nuestras manos para luego hacerlo con los vegetales. Posteriormente, continuamos con picar el repollo,zanahoria y cebolla en pequeños cuadros, los reservamos por separados. El queso lo rayamos usando la parte mas pequeña del rayo, esta zanahoria rayada la untamos con el repollo que ya teníamos previamente picado y el queso lo colocamos aparte. Debemos picar los panes de perros calientes que vamos a usar.
Once the vegetables are chopped, place everything in bowls or plates, the cabbage and carrots that we previously put together, the onion, the french fries bought at the supermarket, and the cheese will be separated, each sauce in its own container.
Al tener los vegetales ya picados, debemos colocar todo en platos o bowls, el repollo y la zanahoria que previamente juntamos, la cebolla, las papas fritas compradas en el supermercado, y el queso van a estar separados, cada salsa en sus recipientes.
We put the sausages in water to heat over high heat until they boil a little, the breads we put them to steam. At this point I managed with three pots of different sizes of water and a carton of eggs, this carton is so that the bread does not get wet. With all this we can heat the breads and soften them, remember they are "hot dogs" without this step, they will not taste the same.
Colocamos las salchichas en agua a calentar a fuego alto hasta que hiervan un poco, los panes los colocamos al vapor. En este punto yo me las ingenie con tres ollas de diferentes tamaños agua y un cartón de huevos, este cartón es para que el pan no se moje. Con todo esto podemos calentar los panes y ablandarlos recuerden son "perros calientes" sin este paso, no sabrán iguales.
Once the sausages are hot and the buns are soft, we start preparing them one by one with the following steps.
- 1st. We take out a hot loaf, we open it.
- 2nd Put a small spoonful of onion on it.
- 3rd. Put a hot sausage on it.
- 4th. Add the cabbage with the carrots
- 5th. Add the french fries
- 6th. Add the mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard sauces. You can add another if you wish, barbecue sauce, tartar sauce, cheese sauce, etc., but the first three are key.
- 7th. The shredded cheese. I used white llanero, you can use other options mozzarella or yellow cheese.
- 8th. Serve
Al tener las salchichas bien calientes y los panes bien blandos comenzamos a preparar uno por uno con los siguientes pasos.
* 1ro. Sacamos un pan caliente, lo abrimos
* 2do. Le colocamos una cucharada pequeña de cebolla
* 3ro. Le colocamos una salchicha caliente
* 4to. Agregamos el repollo con la zanahoria
* 5to. Agregamos las papas fritas
* 6to. Se le huntan las salsas: mayonesa, salsa de tomate y mostaza. Puede colocar otra si lo desean, salsa barbacoa, salsa tartara, de queso, etc. pero las primeras tres son claves
* 7mo. el queso rayado. Yo use blanco llanero, pueden usar otras opciones mozzarella o amarillo
* 8vo. Servimos

- 1 egg
- Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
- Salt
Ingredientes para la mayonesa
* 1 Huevo
* Aceite vegetal
* 1 cda de vinagre blanco
* Sal
We start by placing the egg without the shell in the blender, we blend it for 40 seconds, you will notice that it will become a light color. At that moment, you are adding the vegetable oil as a thread, you will notice that it is changing color, you have to be patient, while you are adding oil will be thickening, when you see that the swirl generated by the blender is closing, we put the tablespoon of vinegar, a pinch of salt to taste and continue adding oil little by little in thread, the swirl mentioned above should be closed completely, when this happens we have our mayonnaise ready, so easy, I do it a lot at home.
Comenzamos con colocar en la licuadora el huevo sin la cascara, licuamos solo por 40 segundos, vas a observar que se va tornando de un color claro va tomando. En ese momento, vas agregando en forma de hilo el aceite vegetal, vas notando que va cambiando de color, tienes que tener paciencia, mientras le vas agregando aceite va a ir espesando, en el momento que veas que el remolino que genera la licuadora va cerrando, le colocamos la cucharada de vinagre, la pizca de sal al gusto y continuamos agregando aceite poco a poco en hilo, ese remolino que mencione anteriormente debe cerrarse por completo, cuando esto pase ya tenemos nuestra mayonesa lista, así de fácil, yo la hago mucho en casa
