Review: Maybelline SuperStay Foundation

Desde hace unos años el maquillaje se ha vuelto parte fundamental de mi vida, tanto aqui en Hive, cómo en el baile y en mi día a día. Y aunque soy una persona que generalmente prefiere un look más natural, también sé que cuando decido hacer algo mucho más elaborado, necesito buenas herramientas, en esta oportunidad decidí hablarles de una de las mejores herramientas que he probado: la base Superstay de Maybelline. Así que aquí les dejo mi reseña:

And although I am a person who generally prefers a more natural look, I also know that when I decide to do something much more elaborate, I need good tools, in this opportunity I decided to tell you about one of the best tools I've tried: the Superstay foundation by Maybelline. So here is my review:
Esta base llegó a mí vida, gracias a una amiga del baile qué decidió comenzar a vender productos de maquillaje que su hermana había traído desde Chile, por lo que yo, movida por la curiosidad de que, en diversas redes sociales hablaban mucho acerca de ella y de su excelente cobertura y calidad, decidí probar por mí misma, aprovechando que contaba con un tono perfecto para mi (algo bastante difícil de encontrar). Su precio fue de 10$ pero actualmente en otras tiendas la he conseguido en 15$ y 20$
This foundation came into my life, thanks to a friend from dancing who decided to start selling makeup products that her sister had brought from Chile, so I, moved by the curiosity that, in various social networks talked a lot about it and its excellent coverage and quality, I decided to try it for myself, taking advantage that it had a perfect shade for me (something quite difficult to find). Its price was 10$ but currently in other stores I have found it for 15$ and 20$.
Decidí hacerles esta reseña porque desde hace como un mes mi base se está acabando, algo que nunca me había pasado porque generalmente las bases anteriores tenían un color o subtono que no quedaba con mi piel, por lo que terminaba dejándolas, aparte de que su acabado no era lo que buscaba, algunas eran súper secas y me acartonaban la piel (Sin importar como la preparara) y otras eran muy grasosas. Actualmente puedo decir con total propiedad que la Maybelline SuperStay es un producto que ya probé en diversas ocasiones y que en cada una de ellas me ha dejado satisfecha, por eso decidí puntuarla y recomendarla.
I decided to make this review because for about a month my foundation is running out, something that had never happened to me because usually the previous foundations had a color or undertone that did not fit my skin, so I ended up leaving them, besides their finish was not what I was looking for, some were super dry and stiffened my skin (no matter how I prepared it) and others were very greasy. Currently I can say with total ownership that the Maybelline SuperStay is a product that I have tried on several occasions and in each of them has left me satisfied, so I decided to rate and recommend it.
Realmente puedo decirles que si son personas de piel grasa (al igual que yo) y desean una cobertura media/alta, está base es para ustedes. Su acabado como les mencioné arriba, tiene un punto exacto, no es seca pero tampoco grasosa, por el contrario te da un brillo bastante natural sin perder cobertura y sin dejarte con un montón de grasa en la piel. Algo super importante tambien es que su duracion es muy buena y soporta muy bien la transpiracion, se los digo en serio, he usado esa base por todo el dia, bajo el sol, he competido con ella, transpirado a mil y ella sigue intacta y eso sin usar fijador de maquillaje.
I can really tell you that if you are oily skinned (like me) and want a medium/high coverage, this foundation is for you. Its finish as I mentioned above, has a point, it's not dry but not exactly greasy either, on the contrary it gives you a pretty natural glow without losing coverage and without leaving you with a lot of oil on your skin. Something super important is also that its durability is very good and supports perspiration very well, I tell you seriously, I've used this foundation all day, under the sun, competed with her, sweated a thousand and she is still intact and that without using makeup fixer.

Para que vean que obviamente no les miento, decidí probar esta base en la mitad de mi rostro solo con mi crema hidratante y contorno de ojos, sin primers ni correctores para que puedan ver la diferencia.
So you can see that I'm obviously not lying to you, I decided to test this foundation on half of my face with just my moisturizer and eye contour, no primers or concealers so you can see the difference.
Y ahora les muestro fotos de como se ve el acabado si usamos un corrector para neutralizar esas pequeñas manchitas que tengo en mi rostro posteriores a brotecitos de acné.
Nota para decir que ultimamente difumino el corrector con mis dedos pues hace que se funda con la piel y a mi parecer le deja un mejor acabado.
And now I show you pictures of what the finish looks like if we use a concealer to neutralize those little spots I have on my face after acne breakouts.
Note to say that lately I blend the concealer with my fingers as it makes it blend with the skin and in my opinion leaves a better finish.
Al final de todo, decidi sellar con polvo compacto, aplicar un poco de rubor, gloss y peine mis cejas para terminar este post, y puedan ver una base de mi maquillaje diario.
At the end of it all, I decided to seal with pressed powder, apply some blush, gloss and comb my eyebrows to finish this post, and you can see a base of my daily makeup.
Y bueno, esta fue mi pequeña receta de la Base SuperStay de Maybelline, por si tienen dudas, la mia es tono 058 True caramel y realmente creo que se adapta muy bien a mi tono de piel, mi resumen de este post: Base Aprobadisima, una de las mejores que he probado. Por ultimo, recordemos que las bases tienen como finalidad unificar nuestro tono de piel, no desaparecer la textura que tengamos, esa textura, siempre estara ahi.

And well, this was my little recipe for the Maybelline SuperStay Foundation, in case you have any doubts, mine is shade 058 True caramel and I really think it suits my skin tone very well, my summary of this post: I have to say that this is one of the best foundations I have ever tried. Finally, remember that the foundations are intended to unify our skin tone, not disappear the texture that we have, that texture will always be there. ALL PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WITHOUT FILTER.
