Estuve algo perdida la semana pasada por compromisos universitarios y no tan universitarios (de los que les contaré luego). El día de hoy decidí hacerles un top 5 de mis hacks o trucos de vida que he aprendido en mis cortitos 21 años. Puede que algunos ya los conozcan, puede que otros no, lo que si puedo decirles es que hice mi mayor esfuerzo en no colocar los mismos 3 trucos que vemos todos los días.

Today I decided to make you a top 5 of my hacks or life tricks that I have learned in my short 21 years. A todos los amantes de las cejas, nos ha pasado mínimo una vez en la vida que a la hora de comprar el pincel para maquillarlas, compramos uno que lastimosamente es demasiado grueso. En mi caso esto me ha pasado en un sinfín de oportunidades, y aunque intenté de todo nunca lograba que permaneciera lo suficientemente fino para poder hacer mi maquillaje. Intenté con vaselina, cremas, incluso con fijador de cabello (tanto laca como gel) y en ninguno de los casos tuve los resultados que necesitaba, en una oportunidad intenté cortar las cerdas para ver si así se mantenía un grosor que me funcionara y terminé dañando la brocha. Actualmente tengo a mi amigo Larry (mi pincel de cejas) el cual es bastante versátil ya que incluye su cepillo para peinar las cejas y distribuir el producto, pero Larry después de lavarlo se esponja un poco y se pone grueso. Así que hace poco descubrí una forma de mantener esta brocha de cejas en un grosor que me funcione y poder usarla sin morir en el intento y todo lo que necesite fue: Pega de pestañas.
To all eyebrow lovers, it has happened to us at least once in our lives that when it comes to buying an eyebrow brush, we buy one that unfortunately is too thick. In my case this has happened to me countless times, and although I tried everything I could, I could never get it to stay thin enough to be able to do my makeup. I tried petroleum jelly, creams, even hairspray (both hairspray and gel) and in none of the cases I got the results I needed, once I tried to cut the bristles to see if it would keep a thickness that would work for me and I ended up damaging the brush. I currently have my friend Larry (my eyebrow brush) which is quite versatile as it includes his brush to comb the brows and distribute the product, but Larry after washing it out it fluffs up a bit and gets thick. So I recently figured out a way to keep this eyebrow brush at a thickness that works for me and be able to use it without dying trying and all I needed was: eyelash glue.
En mi caso usé esta pega (que obviamente es réplica) y apliqué una gota en un dedo índice, luego mojé los pelitos de la brocha con la pega y cuando estuvo bien distribuida, solo me quedo presionar un poco con mis dedos índice y pulgar, con el fin de aplanar la brocha tanto con quise. In my case I used this glue (which is obviously a replica) and applied a drop on an index finger, then I wet the hairs of the brush with the glue and when it was well distributed, I just had to press a little with my index finger and thumb, in order to flatten the brush as much as I wanted. And that's it, in the pictures you can see the results.

Esta técnica la conseguí recientemente y me parece que he obtenido buenos resultados. Soy una persona a la que le gusta mucho oler rico, tengo una obsesión por los perfumes y splash, cada vez que puedo compro uno diferente y así tener variedad. En este caso la técnica es para cuando salimos de bañarnos y queremos que todo nuestro cuerpo tenga el mismo olor, se que podríamos usar cremas, pero conozco a varias personas a las que no les gusta esta textura o que su crema no tiene el mismo olor de su perfume. Así que lo que haremos es que al salir del baño y luego de secarnos, tomaremos un envase y le pondremos agua, más o menos 1/4 de taza, y a eso le agregaremos nuestro perfume, yo agrego aproximadamente 3 descargas (presiono el dispensador 3 veces). Y luego de mezclarlo un poco con mi dedo, mojo mi mano en la mezcla de agua y perfume y la voy pasando sucesivamente por todo mi cuerpo. Esto obviamente no sustituye el perfume, pero me permite hacer una aplicación más uniforme por todo el cuerpo, ya solo lo dejo secar al aire libre sin pasar la toalla para no retirar lo que apliqué. Y al final de todo yo igual coloco un poco de perfume en lugares estratégicos solo para acentuar el olor.

Un cierre dañado es un problema que tengo mucho últimamente, y no, no estoy gorda, solo que mis cierres se bajan solos a cada rato y eso es muy fastidioso. Lo peor del caso fue que uno de mis pantalones favoritos tiene este problema y aunque cambiarle el cierre es una solución, casi siempre se me olvida comprar uno. Entonces conseguí un truco bastante útil y económico para resolver este problema. Solo necesitas un llavero... ¡Si, Un llavero! Bueno no todo el llavero completo, solo el aro dónde van las llaves; este aro lo tomarás y lo vas a introducir dentro de extremos superior de tu cierre (generalmente aquí hay un agujerito dónde encaja) y nada, ya solo te queda subir el cierre y enganchar el aro a tu botón del pantalón. Aquí te dejo unas fotos para que entiendas mejor el proceso. Lo bueno es que es una solución que en serio no se nota y es muy útil. Eso sí, no te acostumbres y compra tu cierre🤣

Esta técnica si está súper repetida, de verdad me imagino que más de uno volteo los ojos al verla, pero seré sincera, durante este último mes he intentado que mis uñas crezcan, y por más que lo intentaba, no lo lograba, siempre se comenzaban a partir por los lados, entonces mi mamá me recordó esta técnica que fue la que usé el año pasado para mantener mis uñas largas y fuertes. Así que se los traje solo como un recordatorio muy necesario en el cuidado de sus uñas si quieren que éstas crezcan. Solo necesitas rebanar 2 o 3 dientes de ajo, y colocarlos dentro de tu brillo de uñas, déjalo reposar mínimo 1 dia y luego puedes aplicar en tus uñas regularmente

So I brought it to you just as a much needed reminder in taking care of your nails if you want them to grow.
