Hola amantes del cine en hive, hoy una vez más les traigo mi review de ésta película en dónde volvemos a resolver un caso con el famoso investigador Benoit Blanc quien ésta vez debe resolver un asesinato antes de que suceda pero estamos seguros de que ese asesinato todavía no se ha hecho?. Hello movie lovers in hive, today once again I bring you my review of this movie where we return to solve a case with the famous investigator Benoit Blanc who this time must solve a murder before it happens but we are sure that the murder has not yet been done?. Hablemos del cast de esta película, contamos con un excelente y extenso cast lleno de grandes actores y actrices pero primero nuestros principales protagonistas: Daniel Craig de nuevo en el papel de Benoit Blanc, Edward Norton interpretando a Miles Bron y Janelle Monáe como Helen Brand Cassandra "Andi". Continuando con este variado elenco tenemos también a la actriz Kathryn Hahn como la gobernadora Claire Debella, Leslie Odom Jr como el científico Lionel Toussaint, Kate Hudson interpretando a Birdie Jay ex supermodelo y ahora diseñadora de moda, Dave Bautista como Duke Cody un streamer de la plataforma Twitch y a Madelyn Cline como la pareja de Duke.

Nuestro principal protagonista, Benoit Blanc se encuentra en una especie de bloqueo de investigador y necesita con urgencia un caso extraordinario para resolver pero cuando recibe un extraño paquete con una invitación dentro sabrá que ésta invitación no fue enviada por equivocación. Mientras tanto un gran grupo de viejos amigos comienza a recibir este mismo paquete y se unen para ir a la isla donde fueron invitados y resolver el misterio del asesinato de Miles Bron, el cual los recibirá y los ayudará para que puedan resolver el misterio de su propia muerte.

Let's talk about the cast of this movie, we have an excellent and extensive cast full of great actors and actresses but first our main protagonists: Daniel Craig again in the role of Benoit Blanc, Edward Norton playing Miles Bron and Janelle Monáe as Helen Brand Cassandra "Andi". Continuing with this varied cast we also have actress Kathryn Hahn as Governor Claire Debella, Leslie Odom Jr as scientist Lionel Toussaint, Kate Hudson playing Birdie Jay former supermodel and now fashion designer, Dave Bautista as Duke Cody a Twitch platform streamer and Madelyn Cline as Duke's partner.

Our main protagonist, Benoit Blanc is in a kind of investigator's block and urgently needs an extraordinary case to solve but when he receives a strange package with an invitation inside he will know that this invitation was not sent by mistake. Meanwhile a large group of old friends begin to receive this same package and join together to go to the island where they were invited and solve the mystery of the murder of Miles Bron, who will receive them and help them to solve the mystery of his own death.

La película estadounidense con género misterio policíaco y suspenso fue estrenada el 23 de diciembre del 2022 y fue dirigida por Rian Johnson (director también de Star Wars: episodio VIII, Looper, Rogue One y Brick).

La trama gira en torno a este grupo de viejos amigos los cuales pretenden ser muy unidos pero poco a poco se van desenmascarando mostrando sus verdaderas intenciones ya que cada uno tiene un propósito propio por el cual pretenden ser amigos de Miles Bron. Benoit Blanc debe investigar el por qué el dueño de aquella lujosa isla cree que va a morir en los siguientes días, resolviendo acertijos y llegando incluso más lejos de lo que Miles Bron pretendía que éste llegara.

The U.S. crime mystery and suspense film was released on December 23, 2022 and was directed by Rian Johnson (also director of Star Wars: Episode VIII, Looper, Rogue One and Brick).

The plot revolves around this group of old friends who pretend to be very close but little by little they unmask themselves showing their true intentions as each one has their own purpose for which they pretend to be friends with Miles Bron. Benoit Blanc must investigate why the owner of that luxurious island believes he is going to die in the next few days, solving riddles and going even further than Miles Bron intended him to go.

Ésta película fue, desde el inicio hasta el final, un placer visual llena de muchos detalles, grandes vistas que parte estos escenarios fueron grabados en la isla de Spetses, Grecia en donde era el lugar de reunión. Completamente divertida y hilarante que da un toque de modernidad y actualidad con escenas como la pandemia del 2020 y otros grandes detalles que destacaron en ese año, sin duda una increíble secuela de la que fue Knives out con más misterios por resolver y más explicaciones llenas de palabras exóticas por parte de Benoit Blanc. Una película que sin duda vería varias veces para pasar el rato y reírme pero no solo para esto sino para sentirme parte de ella ya que ésta película te da la sensación de ir de la mano del investigador y descifrar cada detalle omitido y oculto dentro de, como lo diría el, ésta gran cebolla con muchas capas.

This movie was, from the beginning to the end, a visual pleasure full of many details, great views that part of these scenarios were filmed on the island of Spetses, Greece where it was the meeting place. Completely funny and hilarious that gives a touch of modernity and actuality with scenes like the pandemic of 2020 and other great details that stood out in that year, undoubtedly an incredible sequel to what was Knives out with more mysteries to solve and more explanations full of exotic words by Benoit Blanc. A movie that without a doubt I would watch several times to pass the time and laugh but not only for this but to feel part of it since this movie gives you the feeling of going hand in hand with the investigator and decipher every detail omitted and hidden within, as he would say, this big onion with many layers.

Después de haber visto Knives out y ver qué iban a sacar por lo menos dos películas más mi emoción se incrementó muchísimo, fue una gran película y me emocionaba ver más de ella con este estilo a lo juego Clue (que por cierto, hacen muchas referencias de el en Glass Onion cosa que me encantó) y que siento que es de las pocas películas sobre misterio/investigador que me llamaba la atención y me daban ganas de continuarla, ver Glass Onion fue incluso aún mejor que ver Knives out y eso que las investigaciones no tienen nada que ver entre ambas películas pero que se unen armoniosamente con respecto a la finalidad de éstas, la cuál es darles a las víctimas un merecido final feliz y su recompensa por todo el daño que sufrieron.

La cinematografía fue excepcional, con colores y tonalidades vivas y saturadas dando la sensación de calidez y frescura de estar frente al mar, los vestuarios fueron espectaculares también así como las decoraciones en toda la isla. Con un especial cameo del actor Ethan Hawke el cual no fue planeado pero fue una grata sorpresa verlo en un papel pequeño en ésta película.

After having seen Knives out and seeing that they were going to release at least two more movies my excitement increased a lot, it was a great movie and I was excited to see more of it with this Clue game style (which by the way, they make many references to it in Glass Onion which I loved) and I feel that it is one of the few mystery/investigator movies that caught my attention and made me want to continue it, watching Glass Onion was even better than watching Knives out and that's because the investigations have nothing to do between the two films but they do come together harmoniously with respect to their purpose, which is to give the victims a well-deserved happy ending and their reward for all the harm they suffered.

The cinematography was exceptional, with vivid and saturated colors and tonalities giving the sensation of warmth and freshness of being in front of the sea, the costumes were also spectacular as well as the decorations throughout the island. With a special cameo by actor Ethan Hawke which was not planned but it was a pleasant surprise to see him in a small role in this film.

Después de verla simplemente quedé maravillada por como éste particular detective podía resolver el caso de una forma tan sutil y hacer parecer que realmente solo está por encima del iceberg, fue increíble ver como poco a poco se iban mostrando las verdaderas intenciones de los amigos de Miles Bron y con estás revelaciones también ver al propio Miles mostrando como su egocentrismo se había apoderado de el ya que sabía exactamente quien era y todo lo que poseía y aún así se pudo llegar al centro de ésta cebolla de cristal con su pasado y el de todos ellos, haciéndolo no solo a él sino a todos los demás culpables de algo incluso más grande y que me alegro que al final pudieran decir la verdad al respecto.

Como me pasó al ver Knives out, Glass Onion solo me mostraba una pisca de lo gigantesco que sería el desenlace de esta historia haciendo que esta película valiera totalmente la pena y sus dos horas fueran divertidas, increíbles y sorprendentes. Definitivamente la recomiendo fielmente y solo queda decir que la película se encargó de mostrar una realidad que puede que pase a menudo.

After watching it I was simply amazed at how this particular detective could solve the case in such a subtle way and make it seem like he is really just over the iceberg, it was amazing to see how little by little the true intentions of Miles Bron's friends were being shown and with these revelations also to see Miles himself showing how his self-centeredness had taken over him as he knew exactly who he was and everything he owned and yet he was able to get to the core of this glass onion with his past and all of theirs, making not only him but all the others guilty of something even bigger and that I am glad they were able to tell the truth about it in the end.

As happened to me when watching Knives out, Glass Onion only showed me a glimpse of how gigantic the denouement of this story would be making this movie totally worth it and its two hours were fun, amazing and surprising. I definitely recommend it faithfully and it only remains to say that the film took care to show a reality that may happen often.
