Hello friends of this beautiful community, in nature we find the beautiful flower of skin.

My Macaw's name is ZAZU and I chose the name from the Disney cartoon THE LION KING" , we all must remember who was the butler parrot SIMBA .

Their scientific name is Ara militaris , and they are in danger of extinction; when we tamed her she had an injured wing, so we took her and healed her and she stayed home spoiled.

This species measures between 70 and 75 cm. its feathers are green with a scarlet headband. Part of the face is devoid of feathers and the skin looks like thick leather with some very small black feathers. The wings are blue-tipped, as is the tail, which is long and pointed with a red patch down the middle.

This species is found in Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador and the mountains of Venezuela.

I would love to set her free but I don't want her to be hurt again, so here at home she is free and safe, free of cages and mistreatment.
