MORROCO THE ANIMALS OF PREHISTORY WITH US
MORROCO THE ANIMALS OF PREHISTORY WITH US
I want to tell you about a visit I made to a friend's house and I said Wow! Seeing such a big and heavy morrocoy. I am passionate about nature, I believe that each animal has an incredible beauty that sometimes human beings do not know how to value just because it is part of our daily lives. It is considered a terrestrial reptile of up to 40 centimeters in length, its appearance is of a black or dark brown shell, with yellow or orange spots, and with the head and legs with red or orange spots; It lives in the tropical forests of the Caribbean, Central and South America. Scientific name: Chelonoidis carbonaria. Taking into account that the species in captivity grow much more and faster than those that are in freedom, because they eat regularly, almost daily and in greater quantity. Because morrocy are cold-blooded animals, they grow for many years of their lives, since they do not spend energy on metabolic processes. For this reason, it is possible to guess his age in the following way: I have no idea how old they are! But they already existed when my friend moved. I am an animal lover but this one in particular seems fantastic to me as two such old animals can still mate. After mating they kept only two little ones and the children of the house decorated the shell with gum stickers. Thank you very much for reading and above all for admiring this species.
Factors such as environment and diet can influence size
