Feliz lunes queridos amigos de esta comunidad, estoy muy feliz porque por fin empiezo a compartir por aca los lugares que visito. El lunes pasado decidimos salir al Barrio Chino acá en Buenos Aires, fui con mi mami y mi hermana, porque como buenas cumanesas nos encanta comer pescado y como días antes mis amigos @denysmusic y @derlyalzurudg me invitaron, pude llegar con mis chicas a comprar pescado y condimentos en este lugar.

El día que conocí el lugar con los chicos, quise compartir por aca el paseo, pero la verdad había olvidado que tenía algunas foticos, y aqui las traigo.

La travesía comenzó como todas en el Subte, y ahí nos fuimos hasta la estacion de Retiro, que es la estacion terminal de la línea C. En esa estación coinciden este terminal y también el terminal de trenes que van a las provincias de la parte norte de Buenos Aires, el cual debíamos tomar.

Happy Monday dear friends of this community, I'm very happy because I'm finally starting to share here the places I visit. Last Monday we decided to go out to Chinatown here in Buenos Aires, I went with my mom and my sister, because as good cumanesas we love to eat fish and as days before my friends @denysmusic and @derlyalzurudg invited me, I could arrive with my girls to buy fish and condiments in this place.

The day I met the place with the guys, I wanted to share the ride here, but the truth is that I forgot I had some pictures, and here they are.

The trip began as all of them did in the Subway, and there we went to Retiro station, which is the terminal station of the C line. In this station, this terminal coincides with the terminal of trains that go to the provinces of the northern part of Buenos Aires, which we had to take.

Una vez en Retiro, nos embarcamos en el tren que iba a Tigre (que pronto espero visitar) y luego de un par de minutos iniciamos el viaje hasta la estacion Belgrano C, bueno la verdad es que corrimos jajajaja, porque nos iba a dejar el tren, pero lo cierto es que logramos subir y hasta tomamos asiento, cosa que es una bendición, porque es una medio bastante concurrido y suele ir muy lleno de pasajeros.

Once in Retiro, we boarded the train to Tigre (which I hope to visit soon) and after a couple of minutes we started the trip to Belgrano C station, well the truth is that we ran hahaha, because the train was going to leave us, but the truth is that we managed to get on and even took a seat, which is a blessing, because it is a quite busy and usually very full of passengers.

Debo decir que en ese momento no sabia mucho como desplazarme pero ahora que he salido un poco más, conozco al menos dos formas distintas para llegar hasta allá. Que me permitirían hacerlo más comodo o más rapido, o usando solo el subte, o solo con buses. Y me encanta, porque eso me hace sentir que cada día estoy más sumergida en el elemento.

I must say that at that time I didn't know much about how to get around but now that I've been out a bit more, I know at least two different ways to get there. That would allow me to do it more comfortable or faster, or using only the subway, or only with buses. And I love it, because it makes me feel like I'm more immersed in the element every day.

La salida es para Av. Virrey Vertiz y calle Juramento. Por ahí se sale directo a la entrada del Barrio, que puedes identificarlo perfectamente por el arco con dragones característico.

The exit is to Virrey Vertiz Avenue and Juramento Street. From there you go straight to the entrance of the neighborhood, which you can identify perfectly by the characteristic arch with dragons.

Derly es excelente compañera de paseo, nos gusta pararnos en cada comercio que podemos a ver y ver y ver, asi escudriñamos. Le tengo un amor increible a esta señorita. Es del tipo de compañía que me gusta tener. Franca, sincera y esto es un llamado público para que me acompañe a pasear por ahi más a menudo.

Derly is an excellent walking companion, we like to stop at every store we can to look and look and look and look, so we can browse. I have an incredible love for this lady. She is the kind of company I like to have. Frank, sincere and this is a public call for her to walk with me more often.

Es un hermoso lugar. Pequeño, la verdad, son a lo sumo dos calles. Me senti nostálgica porque la verdad me gustaba mucho ir al Barrio Chino en Lima, podía pasar horas y horas caminando, y en realidad no necesitaba mayor compañía, era un lugar donde podía estar completamente sola y de hecho llegaba a preferirlo así. Las diferencias son bien marcadas, pero igual estar ahí me transportó a mis tiempos de caminar por horas y horas en la calle Capón, que fue el primer lugar que conocí en mi antigua ciudad residencial.

It is a beautiful place. Small, to be honest, it is at most two streets. I felt nostalgic because I really liked going to Chinatown in Lima, I could spend hours and hours walking, and I didn't really need more company, it was a place where I could be completely alone and in fact I came to prefer it that way. The differences are well marked, but still being there transported me to my times of walking for hours and hours in Capon Street, which was the first place I knew in my old residential city.

Aún era verano cuando fui con Derly y Denys y adoré estos árboles en flor que verán a continuación, que resultan ser una fachada hermosísima para la calle principal del Barrio Chino.

It was still summer when I went with Derly and Denys and I adored these flowering trees you will see below, which happen to be a beautiful facade for the main street of Chinatown.

Es un lugar bien pintoresco, pero me faltó más fuerza en lo asiático. jeje. No sé, quizá un dragón bailando en el medio de la calle. jajajaja. Esperaré al próximo año para vivir el año nuevo chino que me han dicho que es un espectáculo.

It's a very picturesque place, but I lacked more strength in the Asian aspect. hehe. I don't know, maybe a dragon dancing in the middle of the street. hahahaha. I'll wait for next year to experience the Chinese New Year, which I've been told is a spectacle.

Entonces, a lo que vinimos, entramos a dos supermercados, en uno los chicos suelen comprar especias y condimentos que de verdad me resultan geniales para cocinar. Ese es Casa China, super limpio, lleno de productos importados y delicateses.

So, what we came to, we entered two supermarkets, in one the guys usually buy spices and condiments that I really find great for cooking. That's Casa China, super clean, full of imported products and delicacies.

Ahi compramos contimentos, la verdad de excelente calidad. Muy concentrados, y me encanta porque son de su propia marca.

There we bought some very high quality contiments. Very concentrated, and I love them because they are their own brand.

Luego, una cuadra más adelante, me llevaron a este abasto o supermercado que al igual que Casa China tiene todo para cualquier gusto, estaba super lleno, pero no se como se llama porque el letrero está en chino. Y la verdad no se hablar ni pío, mucho menos leerlo. Costo un mundo comprar el pescado porque lo preparan muy bien y se toman su tiempo. Le quitan todas las escamas, las agallas y tripas. Los lavan y empaquetan muy bien para que lo lleves.

Then, a block further on, they took me to this grocery store or supermarket that like Casa China has everything for every taste, it was super crowded, but I don't know what it's called because the sign is in Chinese. And the truth is that I don't know how to speak it, much less read it. It cost a world to buy the fish because they prepare it very well and take their time. They remove all the scales, gills and guts. They wash them and pack them very well for you to take with you.

Pero lo mejor que encontré ese día, lo mejor de verdad fue este tesoro peruano que me encanta y acompañó mis comidas durante cuatro años. Me declaro fan numero uno de la comida peruana y esta es la joya más preciada de la corona. El AJÍ AMARILLO.

But the best thing I found that day, the best thing really was this Peruvian treasure that I love and accompanied my meals for four years. I declare myself number one fan of Peruvian food and this is the most precious jewel in the crown. The AJÍ AMARILLO (yellow chili).

La felicidad me duró poco porque no pude comprar mucho, no debí de hecho comprar nada, estaba muy costoso. Por capricho compre cinco o seis unidades para matar el antojo de una rica HUANCAINA que teníamos todos en casa y como me encanta consentir a los que amo, me los llevé para hacerla y compartir con los míos.

The happiness was short-lived because I could not buy much, in fact I should not have bought anything, it was too expensive. On a whim I bought five or six units to kill the craving for a delicious HUANCAINA that we all had at home and since I love to spoil the ones I love, I took them with me to make it and share it with my loved ones.

Me encanta conocer nuevos lugares y este paseo fue genial. Mi amigo @denysmusic dice que si no comeos las bolitas de camaron, no fuimos a Barrrio Chino, así que lo hicimos. No me gustaron mucho, pero seguiré su tradición hasta que tenga las propias. También venden unos rollitos primavera que me fascinan, los venezolanos los conocemos como lumpias. La verdad tenía mucho que no me comía unos buenos. Esos me comeré la proxima vez.

I love seeing new places and this tour was great. My friend @denysmusic says if you don't eat the shrimp dumplings, we didn't go to Barrrio Chino, so we did. I didn't really like them, but I'll follow their tradition until I have my own. They also sell some spring rolls that fascinate me, Venezuelans know them as lumpias. The truth is that I haven't eaten good ones for a long time. I will eat those next time.
