Some of the interesting sculptures around Singapore

Singapore is a small country but it is full of interesting sights. Along the street, inside a park, and or somewhere hidden in between the tall buildings some sculptures are amazing to look at.

It's funny that everywhere I walk I see things that catch my attention.

One of the new sights here in Singapore is the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The viewing decks built in different parts of this park are amazing. This architectural sculpture resembles an onion bulb or a hanging bird's nest, or the base of a coconut. The inspiration for these structures is probably from nature as well.

When you pass through the Bugis area, you will notice this small building. Who wouldn't be amazed at the appearance of this building that looks like a big camera? There are also sculptures around it that encourage taking pictures with it. The owner of this shop is probably a photographer or enthusiastic about photography.

Are we really in the space age? I think we are and will be one of the civilizations that can go on interstellar travels in the future. That was my first thought when I saw these steel structures in the Woodlands area. You can find these sculptures in the middle of the Wood Square buildings. These astronaut sculptures are imposing.
