I visited Read Fest display at Woodlands Civic Center

Read Fest!

To be honest, it was my first time learning about this event. I don't even know when it started or where it originated but it is a thing now. It's an event to remind us of the importance and benefits of reading; it has to read books.

This is unique, especially in this day and age where video content is more prevalent and is used instead of traditionally published books. Information has become sufficient from online sources that we don't even rely on books anymore, and simply google the things that we want to know right now. Regardless of whether the information was vetted or not, we tend to refer to online sources as legitimate information or content.

I'm amazed by the display that the Read Fest organizers have done at the Woodlands Civic Center. It's beside the Woodlands Regional Library which is a perfect location for people who are moved by this display.
