Wednesday walk. Walking at the foot of the mountain.

Walking through the streets of Caracas is always an adventure. You get beauty in the urban mixed with the natural. This time on the slopes of the Avila or the great mountain Waraira Repano I came across a flower I had never seen before.

Caminar por las calles de Caracas siempre es una aventura. Consigues belleza en lo urbano mezclado con lo natural. Está vez en las faldas del Avila o la gran montaña Waraira Repano me encontré con una flor que nunca había visto.

I had not seen the others either. And a few days later my sister-in-law names her and she is known as Mala madre. And all those offspring are her little children.

Las otras tampoco las había visto. Y unos días después mi cuñada la nombra y es la conocida como Mala madre. Y todos esos retoños son sus hijitos

This area close to the thousandth elevation, which borders the foot of the mountain, is very similar to all the areas around the Avila. Full of many trees, now flowering and with mangoes, lots of vegetation, buildings generally of few floors and streets with little traffic of cars.

Esta zona cerca de la cota mil, que bordea el pie de la montaña es muy parecida a todas las zonas aledañas al Avila. Llena de muchos árboles, ahorita floreados y con mangos, mucha vegetación, edificios por lo general de pocos pisos y calles poco transitadas por carros.
