Weekend at Pool - End of October

This week we went to the pool, yes to the local swimming pool. I am not a pool person but my wife, kids, and grandkids love the pool. They can spend half of the day inside the pool, playing with water. My daughter takes our grandkids to the pool every week almost, I don't join them often but my wife sometimes does. We have a small pool club in our neighborhood. It is free for kids but not for adults. My all grandkids love swimming and they are very good swimmers.

The weather is still very warm and good for the pool. So this week I joined my grandkids, We have spent around 5 hours there, I enjoyed my drinks. I remember when we went to a pool in Las Vegas, my grandkids enjoyed it a lot. Me and my wife, we always wanted to install a pool in our backyard. But for some reason, we couldn't and it is expensive here. We don't have any pool in our house but my kids always wanted a pool.

Sometimes I feel I couldn't give my kids enough, there was a hard time when we couldn't afford such a lifestyle. I mean we had to go through a lot especially debt and loans etc. So for extra expenses like for holidays or such installations, we couldn't spend our money. I know some woodworks, which helped a lot in our financial crisis. That's why still I work in our wood store. My wife knows needle work and she does create a lot of nice boutique work too.

Christmas is coming and my wife already started making preparations. We love to celebrate Christmas and my wife does all the works. My daughter and my wife every year decorate the tree with our grandkids. My son visits us and sometimes we go to our cabin. We have a small cabin where we spend our time during Xmas. We have a caretaker there who sometimes takes care of our cabin.

Last year we went to our cabin after Xmas, basically to celebrate the new year. This year we don't know but we are eagerly waiting to spend our time with our family and friends once again.
