Severance Temporada 2: La mejor serie del año [ESP-ENG]

Luego de casi 3 años, sino me equivoco vuelve una de las series que más me ha volado la cabeza en recientes años y fue una espera bastante larga pero valió totalmente la pena ya que lo que trajo esta nueva temporada fue una secuencias de eventos y misterios muy impresionantes y relevadores de la historia de la televisión. Continuando exactamente donde terminó la primera temporada, Severance Temporada Dos nos muestra una vez más el poder y el enorme control que tiene la empresa Lumon sobre casi todo lo que se nos muestra a lo largo de la primera temporada y especialmente en esta segunda temporada, algo que yo en lo personal suponía que fuese así pero algunas cosas superaron mis expectativas.

After almost 3 years, if I'm not mistaken one of the series that has blown my mind the most in recent years is back and it was quite a long wait but it was totally worth it since what this new season brought was a sequence of events and mysteries very impressive and relieving of the history of television. Picking up exactly where the first season ended, Severance Season Two shows us once again the power and enormous control that the Lumon company has over almost everything shown throughout the first season and especially in this second season, something that I personally assumed would be the case but some things exceeded my expectations.

Ese final de la primera tan impactante y que te dejaba con todas la gana de seguir viendo mas, donde vemos que Mark S (el Mark del trabajo) revela que Gemma, la esposa del Mark de la vida cotidiana fuera del trabajo se encuentra vida y más específicamente se encuentra dentro de Lumon, la cual al igual que la mayoría de los trabajadores de esta empresa su mente está dividida y posteriormente al final de temporada descubrimos de Gemma tiene la mente dividida en 24 conciencias, siendo la nro 25 el tan nombrado y misterioso “Cold Harbor”.

Durante toda la temporada tenemos la duda que se hace en esa empresa, que es el Cold Harbor, que son eso números con lo que trabajan los trabajadores del departamento de Mark y resulta que todo ese proceso de trabajo es para crear la conciencia nro 25 de Gemma, una conciencia que servirá para poder evitar cualquier daño psicológico que pueda sentir el usuario que tenga el chip de separación de mentes. Es por eso que los objetos de prueba perfectos para este experimentos son Mark y Gemma ya que la máxima prueba para poder ver los resultados del chip de Lumon es el amor que hay entre esta pareja. Pero este conflicto de amor no será el único que veremos en esta temporada. Ya que también tenemos el conflicto amoroso de Mark S con Helly, la cual como nos enteremos en el final de la temporada pasada, la version fuera del trabajo de Helly es Helena y es la heredera de James, presidente de Lumon, siendo este un conflicto por lo cual se va a desembocar gran parte de los acontecimientos más importantes de la serie y el que le da el punto agridulce en este final de temporada.

But this conflict of love will not be the only one we will see in this season. Since we also have the love conflict of Mark S with Helly, which as we learn in the end of last season, the version outside the work of Helly is Helena and is the heir of James, president of Lumon, this being a conflict which will lead to much of the most important events of the series and which gives the bittersweet point in this season finale.

Otro de los líos amorosos es el de Irving y Burt, el cual su “amor” traspaso la frontera de frontera del chip de separación de conciencias incluso llegando a tener una química muy fuerte fuera del trabajo , algo que ya nos dan a entender que la máxima barrera para que este chip no funcione al completo es el amor, por lo que creo que para que Lumon pueda crear el chip perfecto es hacer que se neutralice el amor que sientan los personajes. Irving también juega un papel muy importante en esta temporada ya que es el “investigador”, tanto de su version dentro del Lumon como al de afuera, siendo el Irving dentro de Lumon quien descubre que Helena estuvo reemplazando a Helly durante varios episodios, lo que le costó a ese Irving su despido de la empresa al intentar matarla para que se pudiera destapar su mentira.

Iremos descubriendo en esta temporada que Lumon más que una empresa es una especie de secta que rinde culto a su fundador, por lo que las cosas que han hecho no son del todo moralmente buenas, mostrándonos que incluso llegan a utilizar niños como trabajadores. Realmente una locura esta temporada que además de revelarnos muchísimas cosas de lo que sucede en esta empresa, nos dejan algunas otras dudas que espero que se vayan revelando en la próxima temporada. Realmente no sé cuántas temporadas podrá tener esta serie, pero en la forma en la que terminó esta segunda temporada, puedo creer que con una tercera temporada cerraría la serie al completo, aunque todo depende de cómo vayan sucediendo las acontecimientos. Se ha dicho que esta vez la siguiente temporada no va a tardar 3 años en salir y es de agradecer, porque las ganas que me ha dejado la serie por continuar viendo que va a sucederles a estos personajes es muy grande.

We will discover in this season that Lumon more than a company is a kind of sect that worships its founder, so the things they have done are not entirely morally good, showing us that they even use children as workers. Really crazy this season that besides revealing a lot of things about what happens in this company, they leave us some other doubts that I hope will be revealed in the next season. I really don't know how many seasons this series can have, but the way this second season ended, I can believe that a third season would close the series completely, although it all depends on how events will happen. It has been said that this time the next season is not going to take 3 years to come out and it is to be thankful, because the desire that the series has left me to continue seeing what is going to happen to these characters is very big.
