Gotas

Cada año es una gota de la eternidad,
las sonrisas lo son de ese océano que es la felicidad,
el sufrimiento es esa gota que nos inunda de
una inmensidad que no entendemos.

Es verdad que una gota parece no tener fuerza,
pero cuando un día lo dividimos en horas,
luego en segundos,
para después desmenuzarlo
en eso que llamamos tiempo,
descubrimos el poder de eso
que despectivamente llamamos
una simple gota.

Porque el tiempo,
que es un mar profundo,
va lleno de infinitas gotas,
y así todo cuanto nos rodea,
por ejemplo, tú y yo,
que somos temporalmente eternos,
estamos construidos por la unión maravillosa
de gotas que llamamos
instantes, momentos o poemas.

Recordemos que las gotas
se vuelven tempestades,
melodía y alimento,
para quienes hemos decidido vivir.

Drops

Every year is a drop of eternity,
smiles are from that ocean that is happiness,
suffering is that drop that floods us with
an immensity that we do not understand.

It is true that a drop seems to have no strength,
but when one day we divide it into hours,
then in seconds,
and then crumble it
in what we call time,
we discover the power of that
that we contemptuously call
a simple drop.

Because time
which is a deep sea,
it is full of infinite drops,
and so everything that surrounds us,
for example you and me,
that we are temporarily eternal,
we are built by the wonderful union
of drops that we call
instants, moments or poems.

Let us remember that the drops
they become storms,
melody and food,
for whom we have decided to live.
