Hola Hola! ¿Cómo están comunidad?

He tenido unas semanas duras en el trabajo y las ocupaciones. Pero no me he olvidado de ustedes.

Me ha costado un poco escribir, pero aquí traigo otras aventuras para que sigamos.

En este caso en particular, uno de mis amigos, tuvo un pequeño incidente en un estacionamiento y pues, rompió su espejo retrovisor.

Me lo ha traído a casa y bueno, esto fue lo que me encontré:

I've had a hard weeks at work and occupations. But I have not forgotten you.

It took me a while to write, but here I bring other adventures for us to continue.

In this particular case, one of my friends had a small incident in a parking lot and then broke his rearview mirror.

He brought it home to me and well, this is what I found:

Así que viendo la situación, procedí a desmontarlo e ir revisando cuanto fué el daño.

So seeing the situation, I proceeded to dismantle it and review how much the damage was.

Empezando por el espejo, el cual terminó por romperse y separarse del vidrio que funciona como "anti deslumbramiento". La separación creó un "difuminado".

Starting with the mirror, which ended up breaking and separating from the glass that works as "anti-dazzling". The separation created a "blur".

Así que tocó quitar el vidrio para dejar la imagen clara, teniendo cuidado con el espejo que ya estaba quebrado y no romperlo más.

So he had to remove the glass to make the image clear, being careful with the mirror that was already broken and not breaking it anymore.

Una vez que el espejo estaba listo, había que ir con la siguiente pieza grande, la cubierta.

Y lo primero sería pegar juntas todas las piezas con pegamento de secado rápido.

Once the mirror was ready, we had to go with the next big piece, the cover.

And the first thing would be to glue all the pieces together with quick-drying glue.

Ahora, para cubrir las imperfecciones y darle fortaleza, usé pegamento bicomponente

Now, to cover the blemishes and give it strength, I used two-component glue

Y con un poco de agua le dí el toque final a la textura del pegamento.

And with a little bit water I gave the final touch to the texture of the glue.

Una vez que todo esta seco, empecé por armar cada cosa en su sitio, comenzando con los componentes internos.

Once everything is dry, I start by putting everything in place, first with the internal components.

Ahora coloqué el anclaje.

Y una vez colocado el espejo, este es el resultado:

No puedo decir que quedó como nuevo, pero, mi amigo quedó muy contento con el resultado y eso es lo que buscaba desde el principio.

Bueno, este ha sido el resultado de esta aventura. Un resultado positivo.

He tenido otros proyectos a la mano, pero como comenté al principio, me ha costado traerlos a la comunidad.
