A Battle using Prismologist.
This is about my winning match. Using Prismologist in a battle, I got a good result of winning against the enemy team.
As this card was a little costly, I rented it from the rental market and I started playing with it.
I'll be joining a battle challenge hosted by @splinterlands with this post and I'm linking the challenge link so that other peoples may know about it.

It's lowest rental value was 3.136 DEC for a 4 BCX card and I rented one in that price.
I needed to pay 4.424 CREDITS for two days rental. I paid the CREDITS to bought the card.
And I needed to use my private active key to complete this transaction as any transaction in splinterlands requires private active key of master password.
This card offers me an ability from the beginning level and that ability does additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster.
This time I got a battle with 27 mana and I went for it.
Here you can see both team where I've found a opponent with 4 cards against my 4 cards.
Battle Ruleset:
The battle ruleset has 16 mana cap.
Standard: No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
My chosen cards.
I chose life splinter with 3 life cards and 1 neutral card and I used the Grandmaster Rathe as summoner.
Grandmaster Rathe | Pelacor Conjurer | Soul Fiend | Furious Chicken | Prismologist |
---|---|---|---|---|
After selecting the summoner for 6 mana, I had only 10 mana left where Prismologist itself needs 8 mana. So I chose the monsters carefully and I chose 4 monsters where only Prismologist can attack (although Soul Fiend gets a slight chance of attacking the enemy only after getting to the front position) with a wish that all other monsters can just hold the enemy monsters for a moment till Prismologist does some attacks.
Grandmaster Rathe offers +1 armor, void armor ability and amplify ability to all friendly monsters. Pelacor Conjurer has an increased chance of evading all three melee attacks of the enemy team for having flying ability and this monster will not attack as it doesn't have attack power. Soul Fiend will wait to attack until it comes to the first position as its a melee attacker without having any special ability.
Furious Chicken is there as a bait so that it gets an extra hit for someone of the friendly team and this monster was used mainly because of its 0 mana needs. Prismologist is the main character here that I wish to talk about and this monster will do additional damage to enemy monsters adjacent to the target monster.
Enemy's chosen cards.
The enemy chose death splinter with 4 death cards and the enemy team used Thaddius Brood as summoner.
Thaddius Brood | Cursed Windeku | Death Elemental | Undead Badger | Carrion Shade |
---|---|---|---|---|
Thaddius Brood of enemy team removed 1 health for 2 friendly monsters and the -1 magic offer was a waste as friendly monster didn't have any magic attacker. Cursed Windeku here offers thorns ability that allows it to does damage back to the attacker when it gets hit with a melee attack so it won't be a problem for Prismologist.
Death Elemental has the snipe ability that allows this monster to target its enemy monsters with ranged, magic or no attack that are not in the first position which means this monster will mostly target Furious Chicken or Prismologist.
Undead Badger has the sneak ability that will allow it to target the last monster of its enemy team instead of the first monster which means it will attack only Prismologist until unless that friendly monster dies before other friendly monsters. Carrion Shade is a melee attacker without having any special ability and it stays at the very last position which means it will do nothing till it comes to the front position.
The Battle
Enemy team's Death Elemental started attacking first and that attack should've killed Furious Chicken as magic attackers attack health ignoring the armor and it was saved because of the void armor of the friendly teams summoner.
Undead Badger then attacked Prismologist according to its ability and unfortunately, Prismologist missed its first attack and I didn't understand why it happened as I didn't see anything that could make Prismologist miss its attack. Then Death Elemental killed Furious Chicken at the next round and Cursed Windeku missed its attack this time as the flying ability of Pelacor Conjurer worked perfectly which was a great achievement for the team.
The second attack Prismologist didn't go waste and killed 1/3 health of Cursed Windeku by the ranged attack when Death Elemental was also died for the blast ability. Cursed Windeku didn't miss in the next round and killed 1/2 health of Pelacor Conjurer and then Prismologist lost its whole armor and then attacked and killed 1/2 current health of Cursed Windeku by the ranged attack when Undead Badger was also died for the blast ability.
Then in the next round, Cursed Windeku killed Pelacor Conjurer as its flying ability didn't work again and Soul Fiend came to front in wishing to do some melee attacks but Prismologist didn't give that chance and finished off all two enemy monsters with a single attack where ranged attack killed Cursed Windeku and blast ability killed Carrion Shade.
And the game came to an ending when the friendly team still had two monsters intact.
The next post about splinterlands will be coming soon.
