Hola amigos de Hive! Hoy les voy a contar sobre la ropa que rescaté del armario de mi mamá y cómo las he combinado con la ropa que tengo en mi armario.

Lo primero que me ha sorprendido es lo mucho que han durado estas piezas sin que les salga ni un solo hueco. Mi mamá ama la ropa, siento que tiene muy buen gusto y debo confesar que desde la adolescencia siempre he usado su ropa. Claro, esto no pasa hace muchos años porque me mudé de casa y ya nuestros armarios no están tan cerca.

El plan fue así: primero, tomé la ropa que ella me estaba ofreciendo, prometiendo que si algo no me gustaba, lo devolvería. Luego, seleccionaba cada pieza y buscaba en Pinterest inspiración para saber cómo la podría combinar. Por último, buscaba en mi armario lo que se pareciera a la inspiración.✨

The first thing that surprised me is how much these pieces have lasted without a single hole. My mom loves clothes, I feel she has very good taste and I must confess that I've always used her clothes since adolescence. Of course this hasn't happened for many years because I moved out and our closets aren't so close anymore.

The plan was like this; first I took the clothes she was offering me promising that if I didn't like something I would return it. Then I would select each piece and look for inspiration on Pinterest to know how I could combine it and finally I would look in my closet for what looked like the inspiration.✨

Empezaremos con esta falda porque siempre fue mi favorita. Nunca la había podido usar porque no tenía una parte de arriba para combinarla y a ella le pasó exactamente igual. Así que esta falda me la ha regalado casi sin usar.

We'll start with this skirt because it's always been my favorite. I've never been able to wear it because I didn't have a top to combine it with and she had the same thing happen to her so she gave me this skirt almost unused.

Seguimos con la segunda falda, y esta la siento un poco más formal. No me convencía tanto, pero siento que si le puedo sacar provecho.

We'll continue with the second skirt and this one I feel a little more formal. I didn't like it so much but I feel I can get some use out of it.

Este pantalón me tomó por completo de sorpresa. No me gustaba y ella insistió tanto en que lo tomara que decidí traerlo a casa y ver si lo podía combinar con algo interesante. Y me encantó.

This pants took me by complete surprise. I didn't like it and she insisted so much that I took it that I decided to bring it home and see if I could combine it with something interesting and I loved it.

Ok, los botines... Yo siempre les dije botines de duende por su punta marcada. Pero viendo videos de ropa en internet, vi unos parecidos y decidí darles una oportunidad. Y los amaré por siempre. Me encantaron tanto que pensaba en mandar a recortar un poco su punta. Pero al combinarlos, decidí que así estaban perfectos.

Ok the boots... I always called them elf boots because of their pointed mark, but watching clothes videos on the internet I saw some similar ones and decided to give them a chance that I will love forever, I loved them so much that I thought about sending them to trim a little of their tip and when I combined them I decided that they were perfect.

Me encantó hacer este plan. Soy muy sentimental y me encanta sentir en mí una parte del estilo de mi mamá, pero adaptado a mí. Puede que haga esto más seguido y busque en tiendas de segunda mano piezas que pueda combinar con lo que tengo en casa.

I loved doing this plan, I'm very sentimental and I love feeling a part of my mom's style in me but adapted to me, I might do this more often and look for pieces in second-hand stores that I can combine with what I have at home.
