Masked Turia Fountain, First Museums after the Hard Lockdown - Valencia 2020
First thing we did after the first lockdown got lifted in Valencia, was to travel to Altea.
The second thing we did after arriving back home, was to go to museums here, the Centre del Carmen and the IVAM. We needed to get our brains tickled again in a creative way.
Another cool thing was that the city added big letters spelling out VALENCIA at the City of Arts and Sciences. And, someone added masks onto many famous statues in the city - they even climbed into the Turia Fountain to put masks onto every single figure.
This video was recorded with this camera.
Here a video of the Turia Fountain without the masks.

That's so funny with the masks... they have become part of us and so part of everything around us 😁
I do like the big letters, looks fancy against the background.
Happy New Year! 🎉
I have a whole bunch of photos of the masked statues, would be great as a photo exhibition in 10 years or so :)
there must be so much to discover there. the capsule with the blue things in itself looked very interesting.
Totally agree, thank you so much for stopping by.
