glorious football Sunday ended in the Italian Serie A with the Derby d'Italia clash between Inter and Juventus. Inter are trying to stay at the top of the league while Juventus are trying to correct a bad start to the season.

The home team Inter took the lead in the first half and put pressure on the Bianconeri team. After 17 minutes of play, Turkish Hakan Calhanoglu hit the box from distance. His attempt took the post and landed at the feet of Edin Dzeko, who was able to score on an empty goal.

Juventus' Juan Cuadrado tried a hard shot five minutes after Inter's goal, but the Colombian's attempt narrowly missed Samir Handanovic in the Inter goal. The teams went to the break on a lead to the home team.

In the second half, Juventus made some offensive substitutions in the form of Paulo Dybala and Federico Chiesa to chase the equalizer.

With five minutes left in the match, the referee received a message in his ear that a foul had occurred in the Inter field. The referee had to go out and look at the VAR pictures and assessed that there was a penalty kick for Juventus.

Substitute Dybala had to shoot from the 11-meter spot and equalized safely for the away team.

None of the teams managed to score one more goal and secure the three points, and therefore the teams went their separate ways with a single point each to share.
