Another weeks at the academy

Well, truth to be told, art uni in Cracow isn’t the best place to study without stress. I rather say, that being triggered and stressed by the stupid, let’s call it, the system is taking my peaceful sleep off. I wish I’d spent more time in the studio painting and drawing, but here we are, writing essays on sociology and going to completely unimportant lectures while watching documentary films.
My plans are little bit different for the next year, I’ll see how the things will work out for me.
Anyway, last weekend I spent in the studio making up old paintings, this week we have a new pose, which I love. As same as my professor from painting and his advices.
I feel progress over those 4 months, that’s a good thing.

Cóż, prawdę powiedziawszy, uczelnia artystyczna w Krakowie nie jest najlepszym miejscem do bezstresowego studiowania. Raczej mówię, że bycie spętanym i zestresowanym przez głupi, nazwijmy to, system odbiera mi spokojny sen. Chciałabym spędzać więcej czasu w pracowni malując i rysując, a tu proszę, piszemy eseje z socjologii i chodzimy na zupełnie nieważne wykłady, oglądając przy tym filmy dokumentalne.
Moje plany na przyszły rok są trochę inne, zobaczę, jak mi się wszystko ułoży.
W każdym razie, ostatni weekend spędziłam w pracowni nadrabiając stare obrazy, w tym tygodniu mamy nową pozę, którą uwielbiam. Tak samo jak mój profesor od malarstwa i jego rady.
Czuję postęp przez te 4 miesiące, to dobrze.
