Una Bruja en la Cocina: "No Bake Tres Leches Cake - Testing Instagram Recipes" [EN] // [ES]
These cookies are very famous in my state and in the neighboring state, as they are sold in the tolls along the highway that connects both states, I must also say that they are very delicious, and bring back fond memories of my childhood, last Friday when I went to Live Sessions in Valencia, when we were coming back home I bought a couple of packages of panelas from San Joaquin, to offer it to Mathias, so he could try one of the things that delighted me when I was a child of his age, however, he did not like them, Mathias has a demanding palate hahaha, so I decided to prepare this tres leches cake without oven.
Remember that in my last post making #catarsis I told you that I had lost the pictures of a delicious recipe I was preparing to share with you, yes, it was this recipe, I managed to recover some of the pictures although most of the process was definitely lost, so I want to at least share with you the pictures of the final result and tell you how I prepared it, I swear it is as delicious as making the dessert from scratch, the panelas are perfectly moistened, and it is certainly a recipe that can easily get us out of a hurry. To make this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
2 Packages | Panelas de San Joaquín, or prepared sponge cake | 400 gr | Condensed milk |
500ml | Full milk |
450 ml | milk cream |
1/2 cup | Chocolate drops |
1 | Kiwi or other fruit to decorate |

As I mentioned before I lost the pictures of the preparation process, but basically we must mix the three milks, condensed milk, whipping cream, of which we will use 250 ml. for the mixture and 200 ml. for the decoration and the whole milk, beat well to integrate the three milks and set aside. On the other hand, in a tray we proceed to arrange the panelas or the sponge cake in layers, and we are moistening with the mixture of the three milks, until finishing with the sponge cake and the milks, to culminate we beat our milk cream until tripling its size or getting the point of whipped cream, and decorate to taste, I between layer and layer of sponge cake was adding chocolate drops as I used a few more to decorate accompanied by the kiwi cut into slices.
I must say that I was a little skeptical with this recipe, although I have already tried some recipes prepared by this chef and the truth is that I was surprised how delicious it was, I think with some strawberries it would have been much better, I decided to decorate with whipped cream, however you can decorate with Italian meringue and cover with cinnamon sprinkled as traditionally served, but personally with fruits that contrast with the whipped cream is how I like to eat it.

Estas galletas son muy famosas en mi estado y en el estado vecino, pues son vendidas en los peajes a lo largo de la autopista que une ambos estados, además debo decir que son muy deliciosas, y me traen gratos recuerdos de mi niñez, el viernes pasado cuando fui al Live Sessions en Valencia, cuando veníamos de regreso a casa compre un par de paquetes de panelas de San Joaquín, para ofrecerla a Mathias y que probara una de las cosas que me deleitaban cuando era una niña de su edad, sin embargo, no le agradaron, Mathias tiene un paladar exigente jajaja, así que decidí preparar esta torta tres leches sin horno.
Recuerdan que en mi última publicación haciendo #catarsis les comente que había perdido las fotografías de una receta deliciosa que estaba preparando para compartirles, si, era esta receta, logre recuperar algunas de las fotografías, aunque la mayoría del proceso se perdieron de manera definitiva, entonces quiero al menos compartir con ustedes las fotografías del resultado final y contarles como la prepare, les juro que queda tan deliciosa como hacer el postre desde cero, las panelas quedan humedecidas perfectamente y es sin duda una receta que nos puede sacar de un apuro fácilmente. Para realizar esta receta requerirás los siguientes ingredientes:
2 Paquetes | Panelas de San Joaquín, o bizcocho preparado | 400 gr | Leche condensada |
500 ml | Leche completa |
450 ml | Crema de leche |
1/2 Taza | Gotas de chocolate |
1 | Kiwi u otra fruta para decorar |

Como les comenté anteriormente perdí las fotografías del proceso de preparación, pero básicamente debemos mezclar las tres leches, leche condensada, crema para batir, de esta utilizaremos 250. Para la mezcla y 200 ml para el decorado y la leche completa, batimos bien para integrar las tres leches y reservamos. Por otro lado, en una bandeja procedemos a disponer las panelas o el bizcocho en capas y vamos humedeciendo con la mezcla de las tres leches, hasta terminar con el bizcocho y las leches, para culminar batimos nuestra crema de leche hasta triplicar su tamaño o conseguir el punto de crema chantillí, y decoramos a gusto, yo entre capa y capa de bizcocho fui agregando gotas de chocolate al igual que utilicé unas cuantas más para decorar acompañado del kiwi cortado en rodajas.
Debo decir que estaba un poco escéptica con esta receta, aunque ya he probado algunas recetas preparadas por este chef y la verdad es que me sorprendió lo deliciosa que quedo, creo que con unas fresas habría quedado muchísimo mejor, yo decidí decorar con la crema chantillí; sin embargo, se puede decorar con merengue italiano y cubrir con canela espolvoreada como tradicionalmente se sirve, pero en lo personal con frutas que hagan contraste con la crema batida es como me gusta comerla.
