(En-Tr) My Observations in the Iron Casting Industry - Demir Döküm Sanayisinde Gözlemlerim

Hello dear friends. I left behind my second day in Ankara. My second day went pretty well. First of all, I went to the place where my sister's husband works at noon. Then I visited a colorful park. Finally, I went to a shopping center and bought some necessities. The most exciting event of the day was my workplace visit. For the first time in my life, I went to a place where iron casting is done. At noon, I went to the iron casting industry where my brother-in-law worked as a master. There I first smelled iron. I wandered around a bit. Then I went inside to observe the processes done here.

Merhabalar değerli arkadaşlar. Ankara'da ki ikinci günümü geride bıraktım. İkinci günümde oldukça güzel geçti.
Öncelikle öğle saatlerinde kız kardeşimin kocasının çalıştığı yere gittim. Ardından renkli bir parkı ziyaret ettim. Son olarak ise bir alışveriş merkezine gidip bir kaç ihtiyacımı aldım.
Bugünün en heyecan verici olayı iş yeri ziyaretim oldu.
Hayatımda ilk defa demir döküm yapılan bir yere gitmiş oldum.
Öğle saatlerinde eniştemin usta olarak çalıştığı demir döküm sanayisine gittim.
Orada ilk olarak demir kokusunu aldım.
Etrafta biraz gezindim. Ardından burada yapılan işlemleri gözlemlemek için içeriye girdim.

When I walked in, the strange smell I had started to get stronger. It was a semi-smoky place. I started by looking around the burning places. There were three earthen wells high up where I entered. In these wells, an effective fire, called ember fire, was burning. It was different from the fire I saw in normal daily life. It was fire with a melting property. I noticed that it was extremely busy. The temperature of the fire was adjusted in these wells. Then it was removed from the well with the help of a tool found there and transferred to another tool. The transferred fire was taken and poured into pre-set molds. The spilled fire was expected to be completely covered with burnt coals and cooled down.

İçeriye girdiğimde aldığım değişik koku ağırlaşmaya başladı.
Yarı dumanlı bir yerdi. Etrafı incelemeye yanan yerlerden başladım. Girdiğim yerde yüksekte bulunan üç tane topraktan kuyu vardı. Bu kuyuların içinde kor ateşi diye tabir edilen etkili ateş yanıyordu. Normal günlük hayatta gördüğüm ateşten farklıydı. Eritici özelliği olan ateşti. Aşırı yoğun olduğunu gözlemlemiştim.
Bu kuyularda ateşin derecesi ayarlanıyordu.
Ardından orada bulunan bir alet yardımıyla kuyudan çıkarılıp bir başka alete aktarılıyordu. Aktarılan ateş götürülüp daha önceden ayarlanmış olan kalıplara dökülüyordu. Dökülen ateşin üzeri tamamen orada bulunan yanmış kömürlerle kapatılıp soğuması bekleniyordu.

It was a pleasure for me to see these processes in place. It gave me an idea of ​​how tools made of iron were made. While I was watching the workers there with curious eyes, tea was brought to me. On the one hand, I was drinking tea, on the other hand, I continued to observe.

Bu işlemleri yerinde görmek benim için oldukça keyif vericiydi. Demirden yapılan aletlerin nasıl yapıldığı konusunda bana fikir veriyordu.

I saw the people working there work very risky ways. While we couldn't even get close to the fire, they were officially doing their job with fire. Workers, mostly middle-aged, were now highly specialized in their fields. Although their job was heavy and risky, they could do it without hesitation. I noticed that there was a nice division of labor. One person stands by the fire, two people pour the fire like pouring liquid on the tool brought by another two people. Of course, the two people carrying that tool are doing their job very carefully. The tool has two ends. They carefully pour them into the molds without leaving the ends they hold. Another person was immediately covering that mold.

Orada çalışan insanların çok riskli şekilde çalıştıklarını gördüm. Biz ateşe bile yaklaşamazken onlar resmen ateşle işlerini yapıyorlardı.
Geneli orta yaşta bulunan işçiler alanlarında artık oldukça uzmanlaşmış durumdaydılar.
Yaptıkları iş ağır ve riskli olmasına rağmen bunu tereddütsüz yapabiliyorlardı.
Güzel bir iş bölümü yapıldığını farkettim.
Bir kişi ateşin başında yer alıyor, iki kişi ateşi bir başka iki kişinin getirdiği alete sıvı döker gibi döküyor. O aleti taşıyan iki kişi işini elbette çok dikkatli yapıyor. Aletin iki ucu var. Tuttukları uçları bırakmadan kalıpların içine dikkatlice döküyorlar. Diğer bir kişi hemen o kalıbın üzerini kapatıyordu.

The resulting products are formed quite smoothly. I was wondering how well this turned out. I left there and went to another section. There was a computer there. There was certain data on the computer screen. I found out that this data is adjusted for those products to appear appropriate. There had to be scientific data behind such formations anyway. After seeing that computer, these processes started to make more sense.

Ortaya çıkan ürünler oldukça düzgün bir şekilde oluşuyor.
Bunun bu kadar düzgün çıkışını da merak ettim.
Oradan çıkıp başka bir bölüme girdim.
Orada bir bilgisayar vardı.
Bilgisayar ekranında belli veriler bulunuyordu. Bu verilerin o ürünlerin uygun çıkması için ayarlandığını öğrendim.
Zaten böyle oluşumların ardında bilimsel verilerin olması gerekiyordu.
O bilgisayarı gördükten sonra artık bu işlemler daha mantıklı gelmeye başladı.

At first, it seemed to me that everywhere was disorderly and confused. Only later did I realize that in the industries everything is done in order. I went to another section and watched the formation of small screws and small pieces of iron there. Everything is not produced in one place, there is a different area for each product. In order for small iron pieces to be formed, the code is entered on the machine there. Thanks to this code, irons of the same size are cut and packaged. Probably the iron pieces prepared here go to another section and become part of a tool. As a result of my observations, I realized that many people are trying to make an ordinary item that comes to us. Many people do risky work to make a seemingly simple piece. Başta bana her yer düzensiz, her yer karışık gibi gelmişti. Ancak daha sonra sanayilerde her şeyin bir düzen içinde yapıldığını anladım.

Gözlemlerim sonucunda anladım ki bizlere gelen sıradan bir eşyanın yapımı için bir çok insan uğraş veriyor.
Basit görünen bir parçanın yapımı için bir çok insan riskli işler yapıyor.
Bu gözlemlerim sayesinde yeni şeyler öğrendim.
