I've always said it that “#Hive gives for everything and more”. the simple fact of being able to write, connect, get excited about the things I daily see and can learn from everyone, makes me feel in a community that welcomes and appreciates me with all we have to offer each other.

En este sentido, nuestra querida @yenmendt tiene una iniciativa maravillosa llamada "Ilustra con palabras" que está genial porque con solo un dibujo se hacen creaciones especiales que semana tras semana, van enriqueciendo el arte de escribir y enriquecernos con sus palabras.

Teaching and Hive
I divide my life into two phases: my real life and my virtual life, is the name I give it. And it is not like in a game that we are masked and try to be someone else, but because very few in teaching do not know how wonderful Hive is, and I just limit myself to say that “I am a content creator”. On the contrary, as it happens in my blog, in these three years I have been able to show you my experiences, reflections and what I currently do in my real life.
But how to combine the two?
My training is focused on personal growth, ethics for life and writing. It is in these topics, I can apply much of what I learned with the different initiatives and writings that the #hivers do to be able to express through the letters, their thoughts and positions.
In this sense, our dear @yenmendt has a wonderful initiative called “Ilustra con palabras” that is great because with just a drawing, special creations are made that week after week, enriching the art of writing and enriching us with their words.

As I think the drawings and creations are great! I asked her permission to use one of her drawings in the initiation dynamic. We have both been in teaching and she immediately understood everything I wanted to do, so her help was very easy. She came up with so many sideas that at one point I thought “this one wants to steal my job”, then I remembered that she earns more than me and it went away 🤣😜.

The process
As we are talking about writing (the art of expressing our thoughts in writing in an organized way), an activity adapted to this topic are those referring to a dictation or description of a situation, argument, or something that allows you to express your point of view.
In this case, in conversations with my dear Yen, we came to the conclusion that this would be the drawing:
I must confess that of the ones he showed me, I loved this one from the moment I saw it because I said, THIS IS VENEZUELA! The essence is to be alive, a tricolor that represents us and dressing a woman because, our country is a woman💯. And eye, they are all great, but this one I thought would connect with the participants because of the shapes, the colors and the elegance it transmits.
As it happens in the initiative, the questions are framed in:
What does she do?
Where does she go?
I ask them to give her a title, and if they want to describe her dress, posture, lines, make a dialogue, a story, a news item, a joke, all entries are valid!
In my case I have imagined so many things, that I laugh at my imagination; the last one I thought of was
Her name is Yunelsy Del Valle and she is the carnival queen of Carúpano 2024 in her fantasy costume😋.
I understand that the limitation lies in the fact that not everyone is used to writing, they have very technical and automated careers that make it difficult for them to let their imagination fly, others are not so visual and find it hard to let their imagination fly and at the same time capture it in writing, so I always ask for silence and respect for those who do not have such ease to capture in two paragraphs WHO SHE IS.
At the beginning, they are expectant, embarrassed or fearful because they think that they will read it to all the participants; I indicated to them that this is part of their first writing exercise, in order to be able to continue advancing. I also suggest that they approach, think, meditate, without writing and once they have the idea, then begin to shape it. I laugh internally when I think “if you could see the writings and the wonderful works that sprout from a simple drawing, a simple connection”, you just have to open your minds and stop conditioning your imagination.
Debo confesar que de los que me mostró, este me encantó desde que lo ví porque dije ¡ESTA ES VENEZUELA! La esencia es estar viva, un tricolor que nos representa y vistiendo a una mujer porque, nuestro país es mujer💯. Y ojo, todos estan geniales, pero este me parecio que conectaría con los participantes por las formas, los colores y la elegancia que transmite.
Así como sucede en la iniciativa, las preguntas van enmarcadas en:
¿Qué hace?
¿A dónde va?
Yo les pido que le coloquen un título, y que si quieren describir su vestido, la postura, las líneas, hacer un diálogo, un cuento, una noticia, un chiste ¡Todas las entradas son válidas!
En mi caso yo he imaginado tantas cosas, que me rio sola de mi imaginación; la última que pensé era
Ella se llama Yunelsy Del Valle y es la reina del carnaval de Carúpano 2024 en su traje de fantasía😋.
Entiendo que la limitación radica en que no todos estan acostumbrados a escribir, tienen carreras muy técnicas y automatizadas que les dificulta dejar volar su imaginación, otros no son tan visuales y le cuesta dejar que su imaginación vuele y al mismo tiempo plasmarla por escrito, por lo que siempre pido silencio y respeto para quien no tenga tanta facilidad de plasmar en dos párrafos QUIÉN ES ELLA.
Al inicio, estan a la expectativa, penosos o miedosos porque piensan que lo leerán a todos los participantes; yo les indicó que eso es parte de su primer ejercicio de redacción, para poder seguir avanzando. Les sugiero también que se acerquen, piensen, mediten, sin escribir y una vez que tengan la idea, entonces comiencen a plasmarla. Me rio internamente al pensar "si vieran los escritos y las maravillosas obras que brotan de un simple dibujo, una simple conexión", solo deben abrir sus mentes y dejar de condicionar la imaginación.

The photographs are from the formative processes where I have used this image (we are just starting with this), so I have the idea of making a part II with “the top three” or five, depending on those creative processes😆. I made the cover in Canvas, the divider in FotoJet.

Me encanta cómo has logrado encontrar formas de conectar ambas facetas de tu vida y cómo aprovechas las oportunidades de Hive para enriquecer tus procesos formativos. Me parece tan acertado tu enfoque de respetar a quienes puedan tener más dificultad para dejar volar la imaginación y plasmarla por escrito. Entiendes que no todos tienen la misma facilidad, y tu rol como facilitadora es acompañarlos con paciencia y brindarles el espacio seguro para que puedan ir avanzando a su ritmo. ¡Eso habla muy bien de ti como docente! ❤️🙏
