SUDDEN THINGS HAPPENS FOR A REASON

I have come to understand that some impromptu things happen for a reason. From my primary school days to my university days most of the teachers when they come to the classroom in the morning would make a random pick and if you were called upon, the teacher would ask you to give a definition based on the previous lesson.

Greetings my lovely family in the Hive learners community, it's the contest for Week 67 edition 2, Title Impromptu Tests.

I could remember in my primary school days, Most of the mathematics teachers would make a random pick to recite the arithmetic Table before they start their lesson for the day. This was helpful because it made me always recite my arithmetic tables 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and so on. The best I love was 2 x tables, 5x tables and 10x tables very easy to learn.

In my secondary school days, the teachers do the same random pick of students to give the definition of a particular topic and give more examples for better understanding, that way it made us so familiar with the subject topic.

I remember my Economics teacher Mr Njoku the first thing he does when he comes into the classroom is a random pick and the question he always ask is What is Economics, how many branches of economics do we have, Name the branches of economics and explain them? these were his favourite questions and that made us develop a great understanding of the subject. This made me have a great passion for the subject of economics and I had my first degree in economics.

My university days were the height of it all when the lecturer walks into to classroom and Notice the population of students in class attendance is fewer than regular, He takes advantage of it, writes a class attendance and asked us to tire out a sheet of paper for an impromptu test. As a result of this, students don't miss his lectures.

The university is a place of learning to make good grades to enable you to become a professional but there are little things that could affect your grades and one of them is missing script I wonder "How Someone, who was present in an examination, takes the exams and when the result comes out his script is missing, no score on the board" How? anyways anything could have been the reason. But when it keeps re-occurring every year, you re-take the course( carry-over) then it's now a concern.
This is my story, I had a missing script in my second-year first semester, I took the examination again in my third year and had a missing script, took the exam again in my final year, but this time I saw my name on the board with a score of 95%(A).

A strange thing happened again, during my clearance I was told I had a missing script in that course, and this broke my heart but I received a miracle that same day I was told they were taking the examination for that course that day. An impromptu Examination/ test I never prepare for it and I did very well. I was able to pass the test. Having good knowledge and understanding of the course because I attended the lectures and I have had series of tests and examinations on that course.

A GREAT LESSON LEARNT

• Always attend lectures in school
• Read your books always
• Impromptu test/examination is to prepare you for sudden events in the future.
