I LOVE TEACHING MATHEMATICS

I almost missed this beautiful topic, teaching is something I enjoy a lot and sharing my knowledge about something I know very well gives me so much joy.
It's been a busy weekend for me, serving my country Nigeria the best we can during the presidential election on the 25th of February 2023. This has affected my general commitment to working, blogging and many more.
Many years ago when I was in secondary school, we were expected to pass 5 subjects including Mathematics and English language at least 50% before we would be promoted to the next class and if we fail Mathematics or English Language we would be asked to repeat the class. this made me study more on mathematics and the English language more.
I became very good at Mathematics so I teach my classmate how to solve maths and when it was time to study at university I choose a course that has maths in it.
Mathematics is the best subject for me because it has a formula and steps to solve any problem given.
Everyone has a touch of mathematics in what they do and in their everyday life. Math helps us have better problem-solving skills, Math helps us with our finances, Math is good for our brains, and Math helps us with life skills.

Just immediately after I graduated from the university, I needed some money to process my NYSC(NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORP) a one-year service to my Country Nigeria. A friend gives me the connection to work in a school as a teacher so I can save up some money. Funny enough I was the only graduate with a bachelor's Degree in the primary section which made me the highest paid in the primary section same salary as the oldest teacher. but before they made this increase I was asked to teach primary two classes,

My Teaching skills made almost all the kid's parents want me to have an extra lesson for their kids after school but it was impossible, I was able to take a few pupils and I made extra cash for myself.
Some qualities of a good teacher include communication skills, listening and patience.
Being able to teach Math has helped me to build a lot of kids on the basics of life and solving problems. I do it with no stress and most of these kids are great boys and girls.
As a mother, my kids know the most not failing mathematics because their mother solves all problems in math. Their school teacher knows they get good assistance from home because I make out time to help my kids with their home tasks from school.
Teaching has also made me gain the ability to train new staff in my place of work.
I am glad I went to school and I learnt how to read and write, I also loved mathematics and I can teach and share my knowledge in math.
