Venezuelan Money Art: TIMELAPSE Saint Seiya Gemini Saga Acrylic Painting [ENG-ESP]
Hello, friends? I hope you are feeling very well, I want to share with you a video of how I painted the powerful golden saint Gemini Saga on a ticket, in my opinion the most powerful saint in all of Saint Seiya, there has always been a debate about who is stronger, between him and Shaka from Virgo, so I'm going with Saga. Saint Seiya is one of my favorite animes and something that everyone will surely agree on is that it has the best soundtrack in history. I first made a sketch drawing that I then painted in parts, in this short video I show you the process, I hope you like it.
Hola que tal amigos? espero que se encuentren muy bien, quiero compartir con ustedes un video de como pinté sobre un billete al poderoso santo dorado Saga de Géminis, a mi parecer el santo más poderoso de todo Saint Seiya, siempre se ha debatido acerca de quien es más fuerte, entre él y Shaka de Virgo, así que yo me voy por el lado de Saga. Saint Seiya es uno de mis animes favoritos y en algo que seguro todos estarán de acuerdo es que tiene el mejor sountrack de la historia. Hice en primer lugar un dibujo boceto que luego fui pintando por partes, en este video corto les muestro el proceso, espero les guste.

I chose a ticket from the many that I have, or I had left since they have no value. I covered the face of the character that appears on the bill with paint to be able to make the Gemini Saga sketch better. I always liked the drawing style of Mr. Masami Kurumada, creator of the Saint Seiya manga.
Escogí un billete de los muchos que tengo, o me quedaron ya que no tienen ningún valor. cubrí la cara del personaje que sale en el billete con pintura para poder hacer mejor el boceto de Saga de Géminis, siempre me gustó el estilo de dibujo del señor Masami Kurumada, creador del manga Saint Seiya.

Finally I completed the sketch, when I finished doing it with a light pencil, it was not possible to detail very well, so I took a darker pencil and thus I highlighted the entire line again until the figure was.
Por último fui completando el boceto, al terminar de hacerlo con un lápiz claro, no se lograba detallar muy bien, así que tomé un lápiz más oscuro y así volví a remarcar todo el trazo hasta que la figura estuviera completada.

Next I start to apply the paint on top of the drawing, to make the skin tone I mix white chlorine with a little yellow ocher, so that it becomes a very light pastel tone and that's how I paint the entire face, for the shadow effect I just add a little more ocher tone to darken.
Seguidamente comienzo a aplicar la pintura encima del dibujo, para hacer el tono de la piel mezclo clor blanco con un poco de amarillo ocre, que quede un tono pastel muy claro y así pinto toda la cara, para el efecto sombra solo agrego un poco más de tono ocre para oscurecer.

Then I painted part of the Gemini Saga's durable armor, making a combination of yellow tones, to achieve the metallic and reflection effect. In the same way I start painting my hair, which is a purple-blue tone.
Después pinté parte de la armadura durada de Saga de Geminis, haciendo una combinación de tonos amarillos, para lograr el efecto metálico y de reflejo. De la misma forma comienzo pintanto el cabello, que es de tono azul púrpura.

I finished the painting by making the last details of the hair, which has a dark part and the other a little lighter, due to the light reflection. Another important detail was painting the eyes, and with black paint and a very fine brush I made all the contour lines, thus the powerful golden saint of Gemini was finished.
Finalicé la pintura haciendo los últimos detalles del cabello, el cual tiene una parte oscura y la otra un poco más clara, por el reflejo de luz. Otro detalle importante fue pintar los ojos, y con pintura negra y un pincel muy fino hice todas las líneas del contorno, así quedó terminado el poderoso santo dorado de Géminis.

Qué les pareció el reusltado? les gusta Saint Seiya? cual es su santo favorito? es muy divertido pintar sobre los billetes, en lugar de tirarlos a la basura, mi colección ha ido creciendo.
