The Flash (2023) : One Of The Best Superheroes Movie Of My Life

Hello my dear friends…
In this post, im gonna share my review or opinion about tte movie that just been released recently. As we can see from the title, you might guess how excited i am about this movie to the point that i feel the need to write about them as soon as possible. This post will contain a lot of spoilers about the movie so if you dont want to get spoiled, i will advise to not reading this post. I just dont know how to share my excitement about this movie without spoiling them.

I have a love and hate relationship with superheroes movie. I love the feeling of being amazed by the fighting scenes and superpower that normal human like us will never ever imagine to have, its something like a dream to me. I love to see or read about the reality other than our reality. Still, i often getting upset when watching superheroes movie because they often left so many things to be questioned. They dont gave enough explaining for me to accept it to be a fact or a truth in that alternative reality they build. I think that building a strong reality is the most important part of superheroes stories because we want to convincing the consumer that this is true (at least in that world they’re building).

I will share both about what i like and dislike about The Flash movie.

What i dislike the most is the bad CGI. I feel like watching something made of 2011 not 2023. The CGI was so rough and “cartoon” like. I honestly can’t understand why it can happened because the directing in this movie is a top notch for me. It was such a let down. I wonder if they actually do this intentionally? So we can get the nostalgic type of feeling when we’re watching this since they also put a lot of CGI on things that makes me nostalgic. That was my only biggest ick about this movie, but its not to the point of i dont want to watch it anymore. I think that i will feel better when i rewatch them on my tablet later. Since they used such a big screen in the cinema, it was just so HD so it’s annoyed me with the bad CGI. Other than CGI, i dont have any other complain about this movie, which is very surprising to me because i usually have a lot of questions and dissatisfaction left after superheroes movie.

What i like about this movie is the storyline. The storyline is very beautiful. This is a superhero movie with focus on defeating monsters or so on but defeating our personal greed and how we can grow from our past and mistake. The truth is, trying to fix the past doesnt mean that the present will be better, doesnt mean our suffering will end, doesnt mean we will be okay. Since its about mother, i feel it quite deeply. If i can turn back time, i will also want to visit my dear grandmother and change things to make sure that she will still be with me in my present now, or maybe i will stay in the past and enjoy all the time i had with my grandma again. Its a wishful thinking that everyone might have, after watching this movie I understand that even if i had the chance the turn back time, i will not do it. The spaghetti analogy is also very creative. I dont know that we can think about times in that way.

What i also amazed is the acting of Ezra Miller, i was surprised at how different the original Barry and the young Barry can sounds and feels like. Its truly like watching 1 people with two different life experiences to the point that they feel like 2 different yet similar people. I dont know how else to describe it. It must take a very good actor to be able to do that.

The cameo of every batman, superman, supergirl, wonder woman, it was all like a fanservice. It took us back to our childhood. I feel so touched because as a kid, i used to adore Batman a lot. I love what they’re doing and i just cant explain them one by one in this post because it will be too boring and too long. This movie is too emotional to be a superhero movie but i think that its a beautiful way to potray the meaning of superheroes.
