Coffee And Croissant To Wake Up The Sleeping Soul Inside Of me

Hello my dear friends, the fellow tea and coffee lover. Like its been so long since i write anything due to my busy changingly life, its been so long since the last time i drink coffee too. I dont know how many months ago was my last, it seems like i’ve list the track of time lately. I was thinking to myself, “this cant be it!” This is something that should be changed. I should get my life back on track again. That, of course, while adapting to my new life situations. The progress might be slow yet i am sure that i can do everything as long as i never forget the spirit of it. Who am i without writing, i have a feeling that i will became lost again in life, in my soul, in my mind, and in my heart.

Begin writing regularly again after absent for so long is not easy. Its like i need to awaken my sleeping personality to come out again to surface. So, like many other people, i came to coffee shop to drinking coffee and eating snacks while trying to waken up that sleeping me. It works like magic, because the moment that i sip the coffee, something inside of me awaken and i didnt stop from looking at my phone to editing pictures and writing till now. The weather was quite hot outside and usually i will feel tired and sleepy in that kind of weather. Well, look at me now full of energy to share my story with you. Its been so long and i am syill learning the new rules and others so if i make some mistakes in this post, please kindly remind me because i am so eager to come back.

The Menu

This is the first time that i visited coffee shop in this city, the city where my husband born and grew. The name of the coffee shop are coffee N. As we can see, thay have many interesting menu in here, especialky the signature. In the coffee signature, there’s one menu standing out from the other. The menu are the second on the list, Manual Brew Chemex. It stands out for me because of the price is 2-3 times more expensive compared to their other coffee. Its the first time that i ever heard the word “Chemex”. I asked the barista and he told me that its similar with v60 but just a bit diffence in the tools. I understand immediately. Its the same pour type of coffee brewing but just different tools. I almost want to order it if i didnt think that spending 90.000 idr for a cup of coffee during my “saving money” time will drive me crazy later.

My Order

One coffee and one snacks. Its the must. Luckily, i ate in my parents in law’s house before i went here so i am not hungry. I can feel my stomach with snacks and enjoy my time in this coffee shop. The presentation of it is so cute and lovely. Wooden tray is my favorite because it makes the impression of chill and vibe~ing.

Anyway, in this coffee shop we will have to take our order by ourselves. The cashier will gave us this little thing and we wait till its flasing lights and gave some kind of noises then we came to the pick up section. I dont mind to take my food and drink by myself but i know some people prefered to be served since they’re already paying for the food and drink so keep in the mind to not come here if you dont like the self service.

Iced Cappucino

Call me basic but because i want to lighten up my mood so i can waken up the sleeping me, i choose to order the coffee i am familiar with. I choose to drink cappuccino because the probability of me not liking them are so low. Its true because i love the cappuccino they have in this coffee shop. The cream foam taste so good to drink together with the slightly bitter coffee. I put one table spoon of syrup sugar in there so the coffee will have a hint of sweetness. Nothing can beat a boost of energy because of sugar and caffeine. I feel alive both body and mind.

Crunchy Ovomaltine Croissant

I love croissants (and other flour based of food). I think that croissant is a perfect companion of coffee and tea. Personally, i prefer to enjoy croissant in breakfast or brunch time. I rarely eat them after lunch. It doesnt mean i will not do it because i have been craving croissant for so long. My favorite bakery was in Bali and i didnt have the chance to go there when i went to Bali for my honeymoon. When i found them sitting prettily in the bread stall in this coffee shop, i didnt look for anything else and just ordering them immediately. As we can see in the menu section, they have quite some variant of croissant, cakes, etc, and i choose the crunchy ovomaltine. The reason that i choose crunchy ovomaltine was the same with the reason i choose cappuccino, its familiar and sweet.

The Bill

The price is not bad, each of what ordered cost 32.000 idr with 10 % so i ended up paying 70.400 for the whole order. I sat here for more than 2 hours so the price is worth it .
