New pasta platters
It was pasta night. I know. Again. It was mushroom because they needed using.
I am also enjoying using my Christmas gifts our potter friend, Trish. These photos don't do them justice. I will just have to use them more often and take more photos. Practise makes perfect.
I admit that after a long and hot day in the office, I began to think that I was nuts making pasta from scratch and sweating standing over a hot gas stove. Unlike the day before, at the end of which I was on a high, yesterday was a slog. Not in a bad way because, at least by the end of it, I felt as though I'd accomplished more than a promise of more.
That's good.
And I'm going to have to up my plating skills to show these pretty platters to their best advantage.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
- Join Hive using this link and then join us in the Silver Bloggers' community.

- lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on @hive.blog and Canva.
Now I'm in the mood for pasta. Time to get out the semolina. There's nothing better then homemade pasta. Yours looks impeccable and very impressive. When I start making pasta, Marc gets a little nervous, as he knows there will be a lot of cursing haha. It's worth it in the end.
I make it once a week, now. There was lots of
vloekwoordeblue aire in the early days! And the practise and effort is worth it. Every time.😄
