April Power Up Day is marching closer

The month is rapidly marching (ha! you see what I did?) to an end and with that we start the second quarter of the year.

On to the business of Power Up Day:

April Power Up Day 2024 is fast approaching

While I find myself in a bit of a bind and am having to power down, I will be stopping that on April 1st and powering up what I can. Because: every little helps especially as we are seeing a bit of a bull run. Long may it last.

More important than that, though, is that I remain committed - as do the rest of the Fab Four - to supporting redfish in their quest to get established on the blockchain. What we do, each month, is delegate 100HP to three deserving accounts, for three weeks. They are selected from @ocd's @livesniper noob initiative. The criteria that we use are:

• there must be an introductory post of at least 200 words, but preferably more posts (also of 200 or more words, that are not about gaming or Actifit)
• the account should have either powered up what it can on the first of the month, or had help to power up - also on the first of the month.

Unashamed bias

In addition to those criteria, we give preference to those accounts that are candidates for the Silver Bloogers' Community. All four of us are members and the community is @lizelle's brainchild.

The back story

Just in case you didn't know, from July 2022 - three qualifying redfish that meet my our criteria and the basic PUD criteria (read about it here and below) receive delegations of 300 HP for 21 days.

Each of us - @lizelle, @coquicoin (herself a recipient of one of my delegations) and I (@fionasfavourites) - usually delegate 100HP to the winning accounts for three weeks (21 days).

Then

From February this year, @ifarmgirl joined our Power of Three to make the Fabulous Four.

So

Now, between four of us, three deserving recipients now get

a total of 400HP delegated to them for three weeks (21 days)

Of course, that's not all

Remember that in addition to the delegations, these accounts are added to my fanbase and receive a daily 100% upvote (if my voting power is still more than 90%; if it's not, I do try to pop over, but RL sometimes gets in the way). This is also why I ask my bot F.R.I.D.A.Y to notify me each time they post. If I have an opportunity, I pop over, have a gander and occasionally weigh in on whatever the post may be about. If you haven't had a vote, I then give a manual vote.

Oh, and @mamani and @mayramalu if you notice your wallets shrinking in the next day or so, it's because I've cancelled my delegation.
