A pile...of deliciousness
A pile of delicious. Last Saturday's meal in the jar was the foundation for last night's supper.
I will come back to this. The weird combination of busy and hurry-up-and-wait continues. I was able to finish one small task and followed up on two others to be told, very apologetically, that even though they've nagged the client, they've still not signed off.
That's not good for them or me. It's not good for them because if I get another project, and I may, that will get precedence.
Then it was empty my stock from one big freezer into my little fridge and freezer.
Why?
Because from 6am to 6pm we will be without power. Besides a few other things, I am planning a productive day: pickling, potting and cleaning.
Speaking of pots, last night's supper came out of a jar.
Just with the couscous, it makes a vegan meal. Like this.
Last night, and because I had some leftovers, I added some chopped roast chicken as the final layer.
All this was on a bed of baby spinach and topped with chopped parsley and Chinese chives.
I am late with this: just as I was finishing off, the power went. Here we are, 12 hours later...
Post script: I am trying to participate in @traciyork's November #HiveBloPoMo. I emphasise trying because the last two months have been exactly that - trying. There have been times that I've just been too exhausted and uninspired to post, let alone write something profound. That shouldn't stop you - or anyone. Read about how to participate here.
I've made it to day 16!
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.
- Join Hive using this link and then join us in the Silver Bloggers' community.

- lastly, graphics are created using partly my own photographs, images available freely available on @hive.blog and Canva.
No way to detect when or not electricity is available of late, crumbling affect on small business throughout the land!
Meal looks delicious, trust the day goes better tomorrow perhaps with some power available.... 🙃
That looks so light and tasty! Makes me long for taboulleh, but the season is wrong here for fresh herbs and leafy greens at reasonable prices. Maybe I'll try to grow some on my windowsill, if I can't hold out until spring!
This is delicious. Keep mind for me I am coming now
