Blue sky, window open and a perching Princess Pearli are signs of summer. At last.

Thursday was another busy ine, working through the list, and catching up after Wednesday's enforced stoppage. And then starting the prep for today's kitchen day.

So.

Last night's supper just had to be mushroom-stuffed omelettes. Thanks to electrickery challenges on Wednesday, the pasta for which they had been destined, fell by the wayside.

At the risk of being boring, I am loving having lemon balm (melissa) in abundance. It adds a dimension to a salad. This time, still with strawberries, but no basil - I am restraining myself to ensure we shall have it in abundance in a few days' time.
