Moon, Stars and Energy
There was a partial and blood moon eclipseon Friday. Since we have lived in McGregor, I have learned and experienced the impact of the moon's energy on my energy. McGregor is also an esoteric place and home to one of South Africa's best known interfaith retreats. That is not all: McGregor lies at the confluence of two sets of ley lines. There are weird serendipities that happen here and which nobody can exlpain other than with a "that's McGregor!"
Back to the moon: one of the reasons I didn't know about the eclipse (other than not paying attention) is because it was not visible in Southern Africa.
Why am I on about this?
Because I got to the end of Friday and was happily surprised that my entire kitchen day had gone almost too smoothly. Although I was tired, I was less so than usual.
Last night, the moon was full and when I went up to bed, it was so gloriously bright among the scudding clouds that it successfully completed with the streetlight.
I have, for the last couple of months, felt a shift - not just for me, but for others in my friendship circle. Perhaps this
eclipse confirms that. The shift isn't titanic but if there is a shift, the outcome could be titanic. In a positive way, and rather than Titanic.
Perhaps like this jasmine that's gracing our garden, my our star(s) is/are rising.
Until next time, be well

If this post might seem familiar, it's because I'm doing two things:
- re-vamping old recipes. As I do this, I am adding them in a file format that you can download and print. If you download recipes, buy me a coffee. Or better yet, a glass of wine....?
- and "re-capturing" nearly two years' worth of posts.
- From Wordpress, I use the Exxp Wordpress plugin. If this rocks your socks, click here or on on the image below to sign up.

- I am participating in the twice-yearly initiative to post a blog a day for a month on the Hive blockchain.
- I also share my
occasionalInstagram posts to the crypto blockchain, Hive, using the new, and really nifty phone app, Dapplr. On your phone, click here or on the icon, and give it a go.
