InLeo: How Money can influence even those Against It
I think i am here long enough to witness once again what drives most people the most. As you can read in the title money is the answer to that no matter what most will say. Now everyone here uses Hive and depending on what someone likes he may be part of certain communities, for example, i tend to use the Inleo front, and write here or write through the anime and movies/cine communities and respected fronts when there are.
Now the Leo community is a bit different than most around the Hive ecosystem. Let's start with the basics. Some communities have decided to create their own front and their own token and try are trying to make something out of it. This is a quite hard job to tell you the truth as the number of active people in Hive in general isn't that big compared on other popular social media let alone for niche communities.
Thus, as a i said a lot of hard work is needed and from what i have seen these past few years, a bunch of these communities and tokens don't exist today, some others are in a terrible situation financial wise and only a few are okish. All these years LEO managed to conquer Hive through hard work and innovations.
They managed to increase the price of their native token to even 1$ which if i remember correctly was higher than Hive itself for a moment. This is quite huge. Ofc it had its ups and downs, some moves have been proved unsuccessful but from what i have seen at least the team members were always here working on something and trying to bring value.
So when the LEO token was quite low in terms of price like 4 cents or something, a lot of people decided not to use the front or tag, many started talking about what a shitshow leo was as well as the team, and that it was about to end. Some others were using the tag to earn some rewards and at the same time they were talking again shit.
Don't get me wrong contractive criticism is one thing and as i said they made some mistakes like the cub/polycub thing but keep on ranting especially while taking advantage of the rewards it's just wrong and a whole next level of hypocrisy.
Now that the token is around x3-4 times the 0.04 price tag, i should have bought more when it was at that price tag, fuck my life, everyone has gotten back enjoying the sweet rewards. Ofc the blame game stopped until the next dumb most likely and we all have witnessed again what money does to people. Hopefully, people would be more supportive offering at least constructive criticism rather than ranting. That way maybe everything may get better and at the same time provide more benefits than we can imagine.
