Baking Cookies with my 1-Year-Old Baby! So much fun! 🤩/Good News!

Good morning! feeling blessed morning everyone, yes blessed because I got a piece of good news for me lol 😂, I applied last week for my Visa to fly out to Europe One day to Visit my husbands Family and for his family to finally meet their grandchild for the first time in real person not just via Video call.

There are not that much of things going on today so that being said that we are getting bored especially now that our restriction is getting stricter again. I have been hoping to get our lives back to normal since it has been crazy for everyone but unfortunately, it's very unpredictable.

My baby just woke up and she's feeling great already yay! makes me so happy because like I've mentioned in my previous blog my baby was not feeling for a few days and now she's fully back to how she is, so I decided to go to the playground for her to play and breathe with fresh air, good thing the weather is so friendly today :)

We have been here in the playground for an hour now and so far so good, my daughter enjoys being here even though just alone.

Look at my baby, I made her wear sunglasses, she doesn't really like putting the sunglasses on because she's not used to it but then when I showed her my sunglasses she then imitated me lol 😂 and then she's loving it now to the point that she won't take it off 😂

We are going out to buy some groceries for my cookies recipes, kids are allowed now to go out but not in the supermarket because it's too crowded so what I'm gonna do, she will be with her ate waiting for me outside.

We just got home, It didn't take me that long to buy groceries because it was not as crowded as I expected thank god.
So now I am going to prepare my ingredients which are Flour, baking soda, corn syrup, etc.

Now Time to start making cookie dough with the help of my daughter lol 😂 she's indeed helpful.
She's enjoying mixing my butter, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, corn syrup, vanilla syrup and I let her Mix it.
It's overwhelming seeing her smile while doing the job is very satisfying.

I wish I could also insert some videos but unfortunately, I do not know how to do so.
So, we put our flour now with baking soda, salt.

Then now it's time for our chocolate chips to make our cookies yummier!
Yay, I am so excited!!!

INGREDIENTS

1ST STEP Mix them on a different bowl

1/4 cup -white sugar
1/2 cup - brown sugar
1/2 cup - unsalted butter
1 large egg
2 to 3 teaspoons Vanilla Syrup

2nd STEP

Mixed these in a different bowl.

1 1/2 cup - All-Purpose Flour
3/4 teaspoon - baking soda
1/2 teaspoon - salt

• after mixing these ingredients mix it with the first bowl

3RD STEP

1 cup - chocolate chips

• mix them with your cookie dough and refrigerate for 20 minutes and then while waiting preheat your oven to 350F or 175C

Then form your cookie dough to the shape you want and put it on your baking sheet, leaving at least 3 inches of space between the cookies, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
