New Song: Adrien L - X Todo composed, produced and mixed by me | Nuevo Lanzamiento musical

En este post les traigo otra canción de mi proyecto Adrien L, como comenté uno de los posts previos, Adrien L es mi proyecto principal en la música.

Anteriormente mostré la canción "Donde Quiera Que Estés" que es una canción bailable y de mis favoritas. Esta vez les traigo "X Todo", probablemente de lo más puro que he hecho en cuanto a las líricas. Esta canción la grabé cuando comenzó la pandemia, me llevé mi antigua pc y un micrófono de hometeather a casa de un amigo y escribí la letra en unos 20 minutos o más, tenía un beat de maqueta de un productor, en el transcurso de la tarde iba creando melodías y el concepto fluyó muy fresco y salió esta letra.

Luego a los meses fui a grabarla en un estudio para tener una versión más profesional, dejé las voces de fondo que había grabado en casa y pasaron los meses, le hice todo el proceso de mixing y este fue el resultado.

Vale decir que el beat tuve que rehacerlo porque sustituí completamente el primer beat por uno que no tenía nada que ver con la canción, tenía otros acordes y otras melodías, pero la velocidad y los drums me atraían a este concepto.

"X Todo" básicamente es una canción que habla de tomar un riesgo después de haber sufrido por amor, después de haberse guardado sentimientos a causa de la incertidumbre y yo quería una letra que fuera bastante real y sentimental que pudiera contar lo que sentía en ese momento. El arriesgarlo todo por alguien y luego por algo, ese es el conceto que quise potenciar.

Lo más importante de esta canción creo que es la letra, las melodías y las voces de fondo sin la combinación de las tres cosas no sería lo mismo. El beat es importante también pero creo que la crudeza del mixing en las voces es lo que mas me llena al escucharla, hay silencios y cortes de la producción que también son muy clave sobre todo en la segunda estrofa.

A diferencia de las canciones anteriores esta probablemente fue la mas fluida al mezclar ya que buscaba un sonido donde el arte se mantuviera con las líricas y agregar pequeños detalles que marcaran la diferencia a través de los cortes o silencios para darle aún más protagonismo a la crudeza.

Así que los efectos que mas prevalecen tienen que ver más con la ecualización y un brillo muy potente en las frecuencias agudas para acentuar la presencia, también agregue un pequeño efecto de Chorus en la voz, no se sentirá tanto pero si era mi intención dejar esa marca como para buscar armonía.

También juego con el reverb automatizando en algunas partes como el puente y en otras partes mucho menos para también jugar con el delay y las voces de fondo con efectos de radio.

Creo que eso es todo por ahora, les dejo unas fotos caseras que hice con la ayuda de mi madre, lo cual le agradezco mucho porque una de las cosas que mas me cuesta es tener imagen a la hora de soltar canciones y siempre me gusta tener fotos porque no me siento cómodo representando con una imagen donde no estoy yo, es algo que me sienta incompleto.

In this post I bring you another song from my project Adrien L, as I mentioned in one of the previous posts, Adrien L is my main project in music.

Previously I showed the song "Donde Quiera Que Estés" which is a danceable song and one of my favorites. This time I bring you "X Todo", probably the purest thing I've done lyrically. I recorded this song when the pandemic started, I took my old pc and a hometeather microphone to a friend's house and wrote the lyrics in about 20 minutes or more, I had a demo beat from a producer, in the course of the afternoon I was creating melodies and the concept flowed very fresh and this lyric came out.

Then months later I went to record it in a studio to have a more professional version, I left the background vocals that I had recorded at home and months went by, I did the whole mixing process and this was the result.

It is worth saying that I had to redo the beat because I completely replaced the first beat with one that had nothing to do with the song, it had other chords and other melodies, but the speed and the drums attracted me to this concept.

"X Todo" basically is a song that talks about taking a risk after having suffered for love, after having kept feelings because of uncertainty and I wanted a lyric that was quite real and sentimental that could tell what I felt at that moment. Risking everything for someone and then for something, that's the concept I wanted to promote.

The most important thing about this song I think is the lyrics, the melodies and the background vocals without the combination of the three things it wouldn't be the same. The beat is also important but I think the rawness of the mixing in the vocals is what fills me the most when listening to it, there are silences and cuts in the production that are also very key especially in the second verse.

Unlike the previous songs, this one was probably the most fluid when mixing because I was looking for a sound where the art was kept with the lyrics and add small details that make the difference through the cuts or silences to give even more prominence to the rawness.

So the most prevalent effects have to do more with the EQ and a very powerful brightness in the high frequencies to accentuate the presence, I also added a small Chorus effect in the voice, it will not be felt so much but it was my intention to leave that mark as to seek harmony.

I also play with the reverb automating in some parts like the bridge and in other parts much less to also play with the delay and the background vocals with radio effects.

I think that's all for now, I leave you some homemade pictures that I made with the help of my mother, which I thank her very much because one of the things that I find hardest is to have an image when releasing songs and I always like to have pictures because I don't feel comfortable representing with an image where I'm not myself, it's something that I feel incomplete.
