Making Beats with Electric Cuatro | testing chillin vibe$ hop

Today I share with you a little beat I made recording my electric Cuatro. I had some complications because I think the connection is loose and sometimes I didn't record the Cuatro but in the end I achieved an interesting result.

I wanted to do something danceable with a lot of Hip-Hop vibe, I think it's a vibe that will always hook me because it's not only about making chords but also about connecting with the whole atmosphere.

I recorded the chords trying to cut them to get something clean, then I mixed them with some chorus, reverb and filters so they didn't sound as saturated as the instrument naturally sounds.

Then I improvised a melody looking to adapt with the base and the chord cushion to make it something quite backing, it is true that I would have liked to add vocals and then I will do it since the video came out quite long, for something simple.

Hoy comparto con ustedes un pequeño beat que hice grabando mi Cuatro eléctrico. Tenía complicaciones porque el conecto creo que me queda flojo y a veces no grababa el Cuatro pero al final logré un resultado interesante.

Quise hacer algo bailable con mucho aire de Hip-Hop creo que es un vibe que siempre me va a enganchar porque no se trata solo de hacer acordes sino de conectarse con toda la atmósfera.

Los acordes los grabé probando para recortar y sacar algo limpio, luego los mezclé con algo de Chorus, reverb y filtros para que no sonara tan saturado como naturalmente suena el instrumento.

Luego improvisé una melodía buscando adaptar con la base y el colchón de acordes y así hacerlo algo bastante backing, si es verdad que me hubiese gustado agregar voces y luego lo haré ya que el vídeo me salió bastante largo, para algo sencillo.
