Cuatro Electric Chill session | Wish Ü

Hoy traigo algo un poco diferente a lo último que he compartido por acá tocando el Cuatro. En esta ocasión no uso el plugin de Midi Guitar, que suelo usar para darle ese sonido del piano eléctrico más Jazz, sino que quise probar el sonido más natural del Cuatro porque tengo bastante tiempo sin producir algo con ese sonido.

Así que me enfoqué en buscar un sonido más de guitarra eléctrica y usé el efecto del flanger más bastante delay lo cual hace que suene más Jazz pero con el efecto típico del Cuatro, el cual me gusta bastante porque me recuerdo un poco a Pat Metheny y con ese delay un poco al vibe de las canciones de Gustavo Cerati que siempre generaba un ambiente muy chill.

Me sentí inspirado y mi concepto en la mente era un poco una historia de desamor bastante triste y ese fue el sonido que quise encontrar. Primero hice el beat con algunas cosas distintas como el drums con otra dinámica, el uso del pad para darle atmósfera waves, luego me inspiré un poco más (bastante diría yo) y grabé mi voz con los ojos cerrados (cosa que ni yo me creo) y logré un sonido mucho más íntimo, con el cual me quedo bastante satisfecho.

Today I bring something a little different to the last thing I've shared here playing the Cuatro. This time I don't use the Midi Guitar plugin, which I usually use to give that electric piano plus Jazz sound, but I wanted to try the more natural sound of the Cuatro because I haven't produced something with that sound for a long time.

So I focused on looking for a more electric guitar sound and I used the flanger effect plus a lot of delay which makes it sound more Jazz but with the typical Cuatro effect, which I like a lot because it reminds me a little bit of Pat Metheny and with that delay a little bit of the vibe of Gustavo Cerati's songs that always generated a very chill atmosphere.

I felt inspired and my concept in my mind was a bit of a sad story of heartbreak and that was the sound I wanted to find. First I made the beat with some different things like the drums with a different dynamic, the use of the pad to give atmosphere waves, then I got a little more inspired (quite a lot I would say) and recorded my voice with my eyes closed (something that even I don't believe) and I achieved a much more intimate sound, with which I'm quite satisfied.
