Hello friends of Hive and my Hive Open Mic family, I'm Fernando Benedetti from @fernanblog, I'm very happy to be again with all of you sharing international stage; great artists, great feelings, great emotions, this is always present in our community.
I want to thank enormously the support you have given me as new Moderator of the Hive Open Mic, I value it very much and I'm really happy to be part of this special team for me and for everyone, so it is not superfluous to send a greeting with love, respect and admiration to my friends @cabelindsay, @mipiano, @jesuslnrs and @musicandreview ¡You Rockkkkkkk!
I greatly congratulate the featured artist @elisonr13, whom I admire a lot for his talent for composing and for his exceptional voice and guitar performance; no doubt he has earned the affection of all because besides being a very active member, he always delights us with his own songs worthy of listening again and again, if you do not know him go to follow him ¡you will not regret it!
"Paper Kites" beyond associating it to my childhood and to that beautiful tradition in my country of flying "papagayos", brought to my mind the words: creativity, freedom, innocence and love, words that are very present in the music.
This theme made me travel back in time, to be exact to 20 years ago when I started writing songs; I want to confess that when I entered the world of music my goal was to be a "Rockstar", I know it may sound childish or a little exaggerated, but it was my dream just when I played the guitar for the first time and without a doubt, I decided to give free rein to my lyrics and compositions.
I feel that in spite of everything I achieved my goal, maybe not as many of us want to do when we make music, we practically want to live from it and give concerts everywhere; but I did achieve the goal of being known in the underground scene of my city at that time. However, the dream was somehow fulfilled much more in the present, since I came to Hive I feel like a Rockstar and I say this with much modesty and humility, because that's just a title I put to my dream, but yes, here I have achieved what I could not get with my rock band when I started rocking in the streets.
When creating music and when we decide to create a musical project with other musicians, the creative process takes many directions, mainly in the content of the songs; it is not the same to make songs thinking in a group and focused on a certain audience, than to create music as a soloist, let's say that the latter has more freedom in that sense and the process in general is more intimate.
Making a song a success is not an easy task, it must have many ingredients to make it part of the popular culture, for this you need to have multiple approaches that allow our musical content can be filed in the memory of those who listen to us.
The song that I bring you today, I wrote it for my personal repertoire, it is the 1st time that I present it before an audience and it relates that dream that I had of having a rock band, at that time I did not have the band, but the song became a prophecy because soon after the process of forming it began.
"Para El Mundo" (To The World) was the application of the famous law of attraction, it was the programming I did mentally to get closer to the goal and it is a song that has a beautiful and sincere feeling.
I had this song in storage, I dusted it off and I wanted to make arrangements that I didn't have before, especially the bridge that allowed the realization of the guitar solo with distortion; I enjoyed this solo very much in fact I did it just a day before recording my entry and I think it came out very well.
I hope you enjoy this entry as it is very special for me to bring you original songs because I write them leaving part of my heart and soul in them.

Hola amigos de Hive y de mi familia Hive Open Mic, soy Fernando Benedetti de @fernanblog, estoy muy feliz de estar nuevamente con todos ustedes compartiendo tarima internacional; grandes artistas, grandes sentimientos, grandes emociones, esto siempre se ve presente en nuestra comunidad.
Quiero agradecer enormemente el apoyo que me han brindado como nuevo Moderador del Hive Open Mic, eso lo valoro muchísimo y de verdad estoy muy feliz de ser parte de este equipo de trabajo tan especial para mí y para todos, así que no está de más enviarles un saludo con mucho cariño, respeto y admiración a mis amigos @cabelindsay, @mipiano, @jesuslnrs y @musicandreview, ¡¡¡You Rockkkkk!!!
Felicito enormemente al artista destacado @elisonr13, a quien admiro mucho por su talento para componer y por su excepcional voz y ejecución en la guitarra; sin duda él se ha ganado el afecto de todos ya que además de ser un miembro muy activo, nos deleita siempre con unas canciones propias dignas de escuchar una y otra vez, si no lo conocen vayan a seguirlo ¡no se arrepentirán!
“Cometas de Papel” más allá de asociarlo a mi infancia y a esa hermosa tradición en mi país de volar “papagayos”, trajo a mi mente las palabras: creatividad, libertad, inocencia y amor, palabras que están muy presentes en la música.
Esta temática me hizo viajar nuevamente en el tiempo, para ser exactos a hace 20 años atrás cuando empecé a escribir canciones; quiero confesarles que cuando entré en el mundo de la música mi objetivo era ser un “Rockstar”, sé que puede sonar infantil o un poco exagerado, pero era mi sueño justo cuando toqué por 1era vez la guitarra y sin duda alguna, decidí darle rienda suelta a mis líricas y composiciones.
Siento que a pesar de todo la meta la cumplí, no quizá como muchos queremos al hacer música, que prácticamente queremos vivir de ello y dar conciertos por doquier; pero sí cumplí el objetivo de ser conocido en la escena underground de mi ciudad en aquel momento. No obstante, el sueño se me cumplió de algún modo mucho más en el presente, desde que llegué a Hive me siento como un Rockstar y digo esto con mucha modestia y humildad, porque eso es solo un título que le puse a mi sueño, pero si, aquí he conseguido lo que no pude conseguir con mi banda de rock cuando empecé a rockear en las calles.
Cuando se crea música y cuando decidimos crear un proyecto musical con otros músicos, el proceso creativo toma muchos rumbos, principalmente en el contenido de las canciones; no es lo mismo hacer canciones pensando en grupo y enfocado a cierto público, que crear música como solista, digamos que este último tiene más libertad en ese sentido y el proceso en general es más íntimo.
Lograr que una canción sea un éxito no es tarea fácil, debe tener muchos ingredientes para poder convertirla en parte de la cultura popular, para ello se necesita tener múltiples enfoques que permitan que nuestro contenido musical pueda archivarse en la memoria de quienes nos escuchan.
La canción que les traigo hoy, la escribí para mi repertorio personal, es 1era vez que la presento ante una audiencia y relata ese sueño que tenía de tener una banda de rock, en ese momento no tenía la banda, pero la canción se convirtió en una profecía porque al poco tiempo se inició el proceso de formarla.
“Para El Mundo” fue la aplicación de la famosa ley de la atracción, fue la programación que hice mentalmente para acercarme más a la meta y es una canción que tiene un sentimiento bonito y sincero.
Esta canción la tenía guardada, la desempolvé y quise hacerle arreglos que antes no tenía, especialmente el puente que permitió la realización del solo de guitarra con distorsión; este solo lo disfruté mucho de hecho lo hice justamente un día antes de grabar mi entrada y creo que salió ¡muy bien!
Espero disfruten de esta participación ya que es muy especial para mi el traerles canciones originales porque las escribo dejando parte de mi alma y corazón en ellas.

Escuchando tu canción me transporté al estilo de rock de los 90s, quizá este errado yo, pero fue lo que sentí.
