At war with cows | Sowing and more sowing
They say with great power comes great responsibility, but what about the other way around? Most people go around life thinking they have no power to change things around them, yet what I see is that they have no responsibility.

I woke up really early today and wanted to both work outside and advance with a new post. But instead of that I've been chasing cows away from the garden as there are still a few vulnerabilities on the fence which they know just how to exploit. How ironic is life, I want to practice vegan permaculture so I don't have to use animals as tools, so they can be free, yet here I am fighting a fucking war against cows.
Its a tough situation because this land is legally owned by my family and they are dedicated to cattle raising mainly, yet their fences are all broken and old so cows go wherever they please. I've called their attention on it but they don't give a shit. Anyway, I can't victimize myself, I must keep building fences.
It's funny because in videogames they portray war as a lot of killing, but now that I think about it, its gotta be a lot of digging and building fences hahaha.
Those that come into positions of social power need to be reminded of responsibility, because they rarely get there through the merits of their responsible actions. They are usually there because they've either been loyal pups to someone in a higher position, or because of their family. In some other cases they've pushed through by lies and deceit.

After some advancement on the fence I stopped to drink some yerba mate and take a bath. I heat up my water on the stove and then go outside to bathe. It's not as comfortable as a shower but it's really nice to be outside looking at all the greenery while warm water runs through your body.
Feels nice to be clean again as I hadn't bathed in around three days 😅
Yet they don't wield true power. It's just a show that keeps everything the same as always. They can't change anything, they're slaves to the grind, same as most. There are people who have no social recognition or authority, yet wield far greater power, for they've become responsible for all that surrounds them.

Now it was time to keep sowing some broad beans. Not because I want to, I have already put as many seeds as I feel I can take care of this year. But I helped my mother on her garden during the weekend and she was going to give me some seeds, but she soaked the ALL. So now I'm forced to put these in the Earth as soon as possible, though they are likely to keep sprouting in plain water, they also have a chance of rotting. Anyways, I'll probably be grateful once they're giving their fruit.
As you can see, the soil isn't even properly worked here, but I think broad beans aren't all that demanding so it might go well. I also had to get creative in finding a place for them so that explains the wavy shape of the tilling.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that if you're feeling powerless, then take more responsibility. The more you take, the greater power you will feel.
As you can see, there is a post within the post. If you feel like joining the italic text into a comment, I'll put you as beneficiary of my next post (only one person so the first one wins hehehe). A short poem to wrap it up:
Obsolete me
Last version I created
Of this earthly illusion
Still latches on
Wishes to remain due to habit
But you've become old
My friend
You must move on
Thanks for your time 🌄.
Nice post I know its a lot of work on the land that's for sure.
It is, but I'd take it over an office any day!
I don't blame you too much time by a desk and a comp is boring
Yay! 🤗
