Descriptive Essay on butterfly
The butterfly is an insect that has brightly coloured wings. The body are divided into three parts which are head, thorax and abdomen.

The head of the butterfly is small and round in shape. The head consists of the brain, the month parts and the sensory organs. It has a pair of large eyes. They have two antenna which stick out from its head which serves as a smelling organ;to search for food. The month is located between the eyes.
The thorax is the middle part of the body of the butterfly. The wings and the legs attached to the thorax. The thorax contains powerful flight muscles which make the wings and legs of the butterfly to move.
The abdomen looks like a tube like shape which is segmented. It contains the butterfly's heart, malpighan tubules which is type of excretory and food regulator for the butterfly, reproductive organs, spiracles and most of its digestive system. And the butterfly breathes through the spiracles
They are really useful to man to pollinate the plant thereby making food available to man.
