Some people think cryptocurrency is a Ponzi scheme and when people are been told they decline immediately with knowing more about how crypto works. Cryptocurrency is a legitimate investment and not a Ponzi Scheme.

What is a Ponzi scheme?

A form of investment fraud where existing investors are paid out of funds received from newer investors. The continued selling to new investors (or getting older ones to reinvest) is vital since the scheme generates little to no return on its own.
This is often accompanied by the promise of high returns with no risk.

Cryptocurrency is not a Ponzi scheme because existing investors are not paid with the new investors’ money and it does not promise no risk .

I believe if cryptocurrency has been a Ponzi scheme all this while it would have crash out by now because Ponzi scheme can only survive for a short period of time.

A Ponzi scheme cannot exist without a new member because it is through the new members they flourish and be successful and if people doesn’t collect their money but the their is no new member and the existing member keep collecting their money it will definitely crash.

Cryptocurrency is highly volatile and does promise no risk . The more risk you are willing to take the more your profit and sometimes there are some risk that not worth taking.

Cryptocurrency is not a Ponzi scheme is really a legitimate investment which requires patience and long term investment to be successful in it. And by following rules which hodl during the bear market and don’t sell and during the bull market take your profit so as not to lose your coin

Just watch out where you put your money in Ponzi scheme or in a illegitimate investment.
