My Cleaning Activity for Wednesday 20th November 2024

Good Morning Friends and lovely people of the hive community.
I hope you all had a nice night. I woke up today feeling good and ready to face the day and of course, carry out my cleaning activity for the day.
Then a thought came to me “Is littering a sin?”🤔

Let me tell you a little story.
“I was about 7 years old living with my parents in the heart of Awka Ibom state,
Nigeria. So, we went for an event and enjoyed ourselves. After the event, My dad bought some snacks for me , after eating I dropped the pack of the finished snack on the floor. I don't remember what happened next because the slap I received was legendary😭😹.
I remember my mum pulling my ear and telling me to pick it up.
Since that day, if I'm through eating something and there is no bin nearby.
I even filled my bag up with trash after school one day.
I put it in my pocket or in my bag till I find a bin, and this habit has been with me till this day and It has helped me to gain favours.
I will definitely pass it down to my kids, not he slap though 😹 but the habit of picking up after themselves.

The trash I picked today was mostly packets of snacks and plastic bottles, which after picking disposed properly.
