Diy of Tigernut milk extraction for refreshments π€π€
Hello hivians π₯°
It's been a while buh I guess we're doing well and fine.
Today's tutorial is about tigernut milk extraction and I'm here with detailed pictures and enough words to make it easier for any first timer.
Firstly, the benefits of tiger nuts are numerous one of which is being a good source of fiber and essential fat to the body.
On top of being nutritional it's has a delicious rich milky taste and scintillating aroma. It can be eaten as a pass time snack anytime of the dayπ... Let's go into the tutorial in details
ingredients needed
Tiger nuts (fresh or fried)
Dates or sugar (preference)
And sieve cloth
step 1
If using the dried one as I am it should be picked, washed, Ann's left to soak in warm water overnight and if fresh it should be picked, washed and instantly.
step 2
I'll b using dates in place of sugar (no reason really, just wanna cut my sugar intake). The date contains seed so I'll break then open and into smaller pieces after washing them clean.
The washing process
Removing the seeds
The soaking process
Then pour water to reach same level as the dates then keep in the fridge to soak for 1-2 hours.
It's soaked enough here now let's move to the next step
step 3
The blending
I'll pour the dates with the water together into the blender And pour the tiger nuts also (without the water). I'll add more clean water to the level of the blender's content
I decided to add little ginger to it (i sometime use coconut also), then I blend
Using a sieve cloth I'll pour the blended ingredients to remove the shaft from the milk
Here is the milk extract
The last and final step is to pour in cups with ice cubes for instant refreshments or in a juice container to refrigerate for later use.
Best served coldπ
So its this easy? π.
Thank you so much for the tutorial, I'm so glad I now have an idea of how it is prepared.
It sure is π€
I'm glad u learnt from it
And it really really benefit the body in different way
Yeah, It's a really nutritional drink
It's looks so easy to follow. Thanks for this detailed step by step instructions. But the problems is that we don't have any tiger nuts here. I don't even know this nut and that it can produce milk. π± But overall, I think it tastes good. Have a good day @feesbamz π
Oh! I wish u can get to taste from it someday
Thanks and you, and you too @jonalyn2020
Hopefully. ππ₯°
