Hi hive

Not everytime I'm going out I feel the need to wear or wrap a scarf. This turban cap compliments my dressing instead. Most times for me it's just about being comfortable in everything I wear.

A turban cap is an headwear worn to adorn the head and has a unique design to add to it's beauty.

Today let's go to the processes of Making this beautiful turban cap

Materials and things needed
Fabric (preferably stretchy)
Needle and thread
Measurements of your head (round)

For me I used 26 by 13 inches for the main cap, used 2.5 inches for the band (on fold).

First step is to sew the cap band to the main cap measurements (26 by 13) however you want it (can be straight or crossed).

The next step is to cut the longer band ( I used 2.5 by 60 inches) you want to pleat to the side of the cap, sew, weave, turn and iron the band

Next is to start pleating it to the uncompleted cap by any side you choose (I pleated to my right)

It should be placed and sewn neatly at the center of the band to give it the desired pattern.

You should have something like this if not exactly

The preceding step is to complete the cap by closing the ends. I sew or weave (or both sometimes) the ends first then use needle and thread to gather the sewn part together at the back to give it this look

Now your turban cap is ready to be worn to compliment your dressing
