Diy of how I made my Palazzo pant
Hello hive,
It's a bright morning here🌄
I want to take this time to appreciate everyone for the warm welcome yesterday, the comments and encouragement😌.
I feel so overwhelmed🥰 by the gestures of the wonderful people of this platform. Let's get along more friends!😊🤗
Today, I'll be making a post of how I made a Palazzo pant for myself.
I bought this particular stripped fabric on a trip to the fabric market with my boss @taimah (bought for herself also). It was love at first sight and had chosen the style I wanted to sew it with even before paying for the fabric itself...lol😃
I'm a lover of pants and trousers, because of my height, 🤗 also wearing pants gives me a new level of confidence boost.
Is it the slick movement of palazzo with each long stride because of the fabric texture (don't forget to add the height 😁😃) or the breathable feel of the pant itself?...
As a trainee I made the pant myself from cutting to sewing and obviously the fitting 😃.
The materials I used are;
The fabric
Tape (for the measurements)
The masterpiece curve
Chalk (for indication)
Elastic (for the band)
Thread (for sewing)
The measurements needed
Length
Waist
Hip
Crotch
Then I cut, should look like this (it's Palazzo)
Then I proceeded to sewing, started by joining the sides (has no pockets would have been the first step), the crotch then the legs
Then I cut the band and join it to the unfinished pant after which I inserted the elastic into band,Weaved the inside for a neat finished work
Folded the edges and next is ironing it
and voila!
