WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT WK 34// THE CONSTITUENTS OF MY DAY

When I scrolled through the outline of the themes for the week, the third one was what actually captured my heart and I decided to title it as the constituents of my day. I intend to share what makes up my day or what enables me to have a fulfilled day. Of recent, I noticed that for a while now I normally drop my engagement in this community on Tuesdays. Therefore this day is so special to me.

The first thing I do is to seek the face of God in the place of prayer and His word that's the foundation of my life and setting up my day. I can't begin any day without consulting my God. This normally refreshes and keeps me prepared to face the day. Sometimes I go on singing beautiful songs or have a deep reflection on God's faithfulness. Immediately that is done, I designed the task or what others call what to do list. In this schedule, I try to highlight everything I intend to achieve during the day. This serves as a guide for me also.

Let me quickly share how I spent my day. I'm blessed with a wife two powerful kids. After my personal devotion, the next thing is corporate prayers where the entire family sits and pray together. Sometimes the kids are allowed to lead the prayers as we correct them in love for more and better performance. The next is to get them prepared for school because the transporter comes around latest 7:30am to convey them. What I do in getting them prepared includes bathing, breakfast and what to put in their lunch box. As part of parental care and love, normally help in carrying their box to the transporter.

what consumes my productive hours before the return of the kids is hive. I ensure that I navigate and interact with other authors, upvote and do the needful. This normally takes me at least three hours before I recess to attend to other things. I give hive my priority everyday. As part of the plan and commitment for this new year, no day should pass without at least one post on my wall. I have seen the faithfulness of God in this aspect and it makes me have a fulfilled day as well.

Another significant thing that constitute my day is going for church activity. As part of the commitment I'm trusting God never to miss any church meeting this year except I am off town or engaged with another thing which is cogent. In the course of that I tried to extend my hands of love and concern to others within this period. Sometimes I make calls or send SMS and most at times I chat on Whatsapp platform to maintain my relationship with friends and family.

I conclude my with prayers which comes up after the supper. The most busiest day for me is Tuesdays though it may sound strange while others might pick Mondays. All these depends on one's schedule. As a way of summary, what makes up my day are devotion, hiving, going to church, showing love etc.
