It's another amazing week and I intend to share some vital things that can add a quantum leap even as we keep navigating through the year 2024. Success means different things to different people. I have realised that everyone defines success sometimes based on experiences and other hear say of people. In this engagement, I would describe what success means to me, what are the strategies or keys to being successful and I would share some of my practical life experiences.

Success simply means an achievement of something which could be a goal or target. Success can be seen as when a vision or goal becomes reality. That can not just be attained without certain deliberate effort. Success is not just mere imagination but a concerted and deliberate effort. Let me go straight and share strategies or keys to success and then who is a successful person?

To be successful, strategies are required. Time. One significant factor in life is time. It defines everything about a man. Any one that has good time management, there's nothing that such an individual can't achieved. Time enables one to manage Evey priority, inflow and outflow of things. No goal can be achieved without good time management because every goal is bounded by time. There is a time and season for everything. There's a time to start a task and there's time to accomplish such task. Success can't be complete without good use of time. Every successful man you see and envy today is a product of time management. I have a good friend that started an organisation even as tender as he was, you hardly see moving aimlessly during the formative stage of his vision. He ensures that everyday he carves out reasonable time to add to the vision. Today as I type this, his organisation has an international reputation and his services are sought after across many organisations today. Imagine he didn't sacrifice his time to lay a good foundation. What would have happened?

Another strategy to successful aside time management is learning from mistakes or previous experiences. Every successful personality you see today are product of a deliberate risk taken. No man is an island or saints. We have our flaws and weakness but we don't allow such to tie us down in pursuance of success. Mistakes helps one to learn more and built sufficient experience over a task. Mistakes are like pathways which equips an individual to be more successful. I have mistakenly enter into some sharp online businesses where the amount of money I deposited can't be seen again. I have learned for life that every short cut to success is dangerous and can easily lead to more disaster. Patience is a good virtue that every successful personality must possess. Mistakes are like springboard that pushes one towards achieving goals when you did not give up.

Another strategy that has really worked for me over time is consistency. I over used this word last year during most of my post because I the value I placed to the word and it has worked out for me. Consistency entails keep doing it over and over. Never give up even though no visible results at a moment. Any individual that masters the act of consistency surely will have undeniable results. Be consistent in that task or goal.

As I conclude, a successful person is that individual that Manages time adequately, learns from mistakes and is consistent over a specific goal or target. Success requires discipline and patience.
