CLEANING ACTIVITY FOR TUESDAY 27-2-2024// WASTE MANAGEMENT

Hi great people and lovers of cleanplanet community. I hope we're enjoying the best that this community offers. It's been a great moment participating in the activity of maintaining a clean environment. I began my episode in waste management a couple of time now to as many that have been following me.

I was able to define waste, I attempted to give the classification of wastes. I also did say that industrial waste could be hazardous or non-hazardous waste where both if not properly managed could lead to more harm.

Another thing about waste is that it can be segregated right from its source and disposed in a particular disposal colour bin. One must identify the kind of waste and know the appropriate container to dispose it. Any glassware like waste should be disposed in a blue container. Paper waste can be kept in plastic bags. Things like food/garden waste can be disposed in a green container. Then general waste you can use black bin. All these must be identified to enable one to know how to manage and behind in public when there's any waste.
