You need to cultivate good characters to remain at the top of life's ladder

Greetings to my esteemed friends on the Cent platform. It's another day and time to share with us the mysteries of life and how some neglected virtues can lead one to become successful and remain successful for the rest of their lives. It's your friend @faquan, saying hello from this part of the world.

Many think that having much money and commanding influence is all they need in life to remain at the top, but I tell you the truth, it's far more than that. It has been proven that being the commanding Boss over the employees isn't the best formula for organizational growth, but being a friendly boss who understands the issues in the organization is the real Boss.

When you ask a young guy what he or she needs to make it in life or achieve their dreams, they'll say, money, while others will say much money. They're right because you really need money to actualize all your aspirations in life, but that's not the only ingredient needed to become successful, most especially for those whose background are middle class. In my neighborhood, I've heard a story of a young female maid who was humble, obedient and has good character, who due to the virtues she possesses made her Boss to train her in school and today she's the Head of Rivers State Civil Service in Nigeria.

Remember that the above woman had no future due to her poor background but her good characters gave her a bright future. Many organizations are looking for men and women who possess good characters and exhibit integrity and accountability to be employed.

Arrogance isn't the best way to live life, at the moment you might feel it's working for you but in the future or probably in your old age you'll regret them.

I'll conclude by saying that intelligence can take you to the top or make you successful in life, but good character + intelligence will keep at the top forever.
